Well done to the Chooks & I would now like my piece of pie.
Luke Keary was unreal & certainly showed me he is transitioning into the halfback role better than I gave him credit for, if he can play at that standard every week then the Chooks are a top 4 side.
All the forwards played tough but Sitilli was the toughest. JWH & SST were on today which helped the team get in the wrestle, Angus was good.
Suaalii's best game because of his toughness & his involvement, he ran so hard at the defence.
Young Sammy played his usual good footy, he is so likable.
Like I said both teams turned up which made it a top game.
I have been critical of Sitili all year didn’t think he was an 80 minute player and has a case of the dropsies, but tonight he proved me and a whole lot more on here wrong, he was very good, toughest is questionable JWH and SST were immense tonight got us going forward I think they were the toughest out there, both got through a lot of work.

      - Robbo confirmed Radley was going to miss some time
      - JWH might be looking at a suspension for a crusher
      - Tupouniua has had a run of head knocks this year and with a 6 day turnaround they might be cautious with him.

Collins would be the obvious replacement for JWH (if he cops a charge)

Will be interesting to see if Egan Butcher has enough miles in the legs to come straight back into first grade.
JWH was very unlucky on that crusher, I’d be surprised if he’s even fined for it. Wasn’t down to any carelessness on his part.

Will be interesting to see what Robinson does with the right edge and lock position though. Will he bring in Whyte against the Panthers? Big call.

Plus he looked busted during the game from being belted when he got the ball & then coming out of some of the tackles he was doing had him in pain. I cant see him playing next week which will be a big out for the Chooks, hope Im wrong.

Definitely messes with your depth perception but you get a much better view on decisions being made.
I hate it. Different at the game live when you sit end on, you have the whole field perspective and sometimes a big screen to supplement the alternate view. But for TV it's a shocker. As the Tornado said, just for replays or post match review if you must.

          • How did Dylan brown remain on the field ?if that was rads or jwh they would have been sent off no doubt in my mind they would have been walked and as for gus the mouth from the west gould. He reckons it was an accident, accident my arse he got him with an old school stiff arm on the point of the jaw and knocked him out. He should get 3 weeks at least for that imo .As for gee he does notlike us very much again he has hammered us with 6 again but the parra mob were apparently perfect. Great win by the boys. Sualli going to be an awesome player at 18 he is starting to dominate opposing players with his strength and in the air as well hope he stays with us.

Brown isn't allowed to be binned when he plays the Roosters. The NRL introduced the rule last year, mid game when he put his knees into Hutchison.

                  Panthers vs Eels

                  Set restarts

                  Eels 3 - 2 ruck and 1 10 metre
                  Panthers 2 - 1 Ruck and 1 10 metre

                  Penalties conceded

                  Eels 2
                  Panthers 6

Whyte is a talented kid but he would get absolutely abused defensively up against the Panthers.

                    • Great win, and a great game of footy, aimed up when needed.

this is the run we needed to see where we are at after a couple months of footy.

did we miss rads when he went off? I like that the halves didn’t have Radley to be the go between, and let them do their job.

never want big jwh to leave.

I have the same opinion....but a little earlier on did anyone notice King Nutho did voluntary tackle went in backwards to our player standing over him who did nothing e..and Nutho turned on his ass the other way around bent his back a rolled his head forwards..like he was copping a crusher but our player was only leaning on with his legs ..went for a big milk that back fired .

Didn't realize that was brown that kneed hutch mate ,he really is a low life .Browns the sort of grubby player that you want running toward you ball in hand when your 20 in front with 2 minutes to go and mad Monday is the next big event in your life.

That would be my concern especially up against Kikau but he was in the final 19 for this game which suggests he’s close.

Alternatively Nat Butcher plays right edge as you know he can go the 80, Egan Butcher starts at lock and Whyte comes in onto the bench to rotate with Egan Butcher, shifting Nat to lock when Whyte comes on. We don’t really seem to have another back row option. Alternatively Robinson could just pack his middle with 3 props to start the game and have Egan on the bench although the risk of an in-game injury to one of our outside backs or edge players would leave us very thin unless he Carries Egan and Whyte on the bench which I don’t see happening.

Will be interesting to see what Robbo does here.

                              • Fantastic win. First real test of the season. Have to say Parra weren't much chop at all. Take Moses out of that game and we win by 30 odd. Pleasing defence in patches and our attack looks lethal again
