Very strong win - the 8-1 six again count came from very biased, stinky refereeing.

What was noticeable in the last 15 when we stopped conceding them and the game became an arm wrestle I thought we were on top.
We've been relatively lucky not to have had Cummins, Sutton or Klein in too many games this year.
I agree with you on this. Robbo definitely loves a set restart to set the defence but there were some mid tackle count ones today that were justified. Butcher gave away a few obvious ones, as did Crichton, which put us under pressure

A few calls could have gone our way but overall the refereeing was decent today. Yeah the Walker tip on no try was incorrect but i thought the Manu flick where Suaali scored was forward so was net neutral.

Elliott Whitehead got 10 in the game before for doing nothing but being on the field.

The inconsistencies with the NRL officiating right now are diabolical.

I agree, it's the 6 agains we don't get that really annoys me. There were atleast 5 I counted that I said to my son , that's 6 again and nothing. That damn inconsistency.....there's just too much refereeing discretion in how they view these.

Maybe a better way for the NRL to take away the affect of inconsistencies and the power of 6 again calls, is to make it +1 or +2 , not 6? They really powerful momentum calls and so often lead to tries.....

We gave away a 6-again on zero tackle, it’s the biggest flaw in the rule at the moment.

I wonder if it shouldn’t just be 6 more rather than 6 again, that way it each penalty past the 40m line is of equal value rather than the situation we have now where sides will just blatantly stand offside at scrums because giving up a 6 again on tackle 1 if it means you stop a try or quick play the ball from a scrum is going to be worth it every time.

                        6 agains ruined Rugby League.

The product has been noticeably poorer and more easily manipulated by the officials since its introduction.

It goes against the fabric of the game.
I hate this stupid rule with a passion.

Worst of all is watching the game and hearing the damn ball ringing..........again.
No one ever knows what the ruling is.

Just bring back the penalties as they were before this six again V'landys rubbish.

Set restart advantage rule - If no advantage taken on the first tackle of the new set then come come back to the spot and award a penalty against the offending side.- First tackle of the set restart is like a free tackle and teams can throw the ball around.

Yes I know what you will say - Teams can milk this by "deliberately" losing the ball and or not taking their "advantage" as they know they will be awarded a penalty in any case.

Seen many a time a team awarded a set restart lose the ball on the first tackle of the new set and thus concede possession -Thus no advantage in being awarded a set restart

I prefer the 6again to penalties to maintain the flow in the game but the biggest issue is consistency.
If Parra were that disciplined in such a fast paced game to concede one 6again in 80 minutes then they are the fittest team in the comp.
And how many times do you see a team well behind on the score board be given leg ups on repeated 6agains?
It's a blight on the game with referees being able to control the momentum to one specific team and nobody can complain because they are probably correct with the calls but just not consistent both ways.
