Watching as a neutral I somehow feel pissed at the way Manly lost that. Also 10-3 penalties against them. Let's hope we don't play them in a finals game there.

I hate Manly and tipped Parra but Cummings totally screwed the sea eagles last night. I've always doubted his impartiality and the return to single referees has highlighted his inability to keep up with the game.
How him, Sutton and Klein keep getting big games is beyond me and they are never held accountable when they make errors yet some obscure touchie will get dropped, its a joke.

Parra have been "chosen" by the NRL this year.
Not via any blatant fix; but the way in which the refs and establishment are falling head over heels for the Parra drought breaking fairytale is painfully obvious.
We all saw it happen to an extreme degree in 2014 in what was a corrupted season. This isn't at those levels, but it's still quite clear that the referees are incapable of being totally impartial under this current regime.
That penalty count last night, 11-2? We haven't been on the positive end of one of those in at least 10 years. Not an exaggeration. Facts.
It's biased, narrative driven trash. We can say "yeah but we still win" all we want. But that's not in any way, shape or form an actual argument that refutes the above because even the most ardent "non conpiracist" has long given up the debate that the referees are not slanted against us, and often favour certain teams based on the latest tribal "flavour of the month" vibe.
