In fact if you read my last point in the post you quoted you would understand that I think the momentum of the player touching a ball should also be considered when adjudicating knock ons.

What's the difference between a tap on and a flick...both use same wrist action but one generally uses arms down (flick) and the other arms above head (tap on) with same wrist action.u should know wrist action R6... And time in possession has no relevance for been a pass..whether milli sec or a minute..
So why didn't ur hero A Gee rule Manu's pass for Sualli's try a knock on? It wasn't a throw and it hit the ground..
That's just simple logic.

No a flick pass is a pass not a bat on, a player has grip of the ball on a flick pass they are just flicking their wrist but it's still a throw of the ball.
That's just simple logic.
I remember Adam Reynold just palm the ball between his legs on the play the ball and Staggs would have scored if not dropping it.
How did it get to Staggs? Was it magic or was it some sort of pass?
I've seen hundreds of bat on passes in my time watching the game...get with the program R6...it's not rocket science.

The problem with Rooster_6's stills are that we don't see where the ball leaves Walker's hand - it appears he was moving forward - or where the ball actually initially hits the ground. Not their fault as when you try and do frame by frame on Fox, it does miss a few frames. I thought it went back to be honest and then bounced forward - even a Souths-supporting friend agreed.
To be fair to Gee, he seemed to play on and probably got a call from the touchie.

Anyways I'm over this...it's obviously u got too much pride to ever admit u ever get something wrong.
I've made my point, take it or leave it..no point me going on.

Sometimes u just gotta move on....if R6 can't see the basic logic then it's not my problem.
Four premierships this century had mellowed me...i can't be bothered with heated league debates.Last edited by Rocky Rhodes; 05-16-2022, 10:33 PM.
