    24 MAN SQUAD v PANTHERS

A really good win against the Eels, with more positive signs that we're starting to head in the right direction. We're not there yet, not by a long shot, but we definitely made a few good strides on Sunday.

A huge challenge ahead of us at home against the Chocolate Soldiers. They have been a step above so far this year, except for 2 weeks ago against the Eels ... who we just beat ... but I'm not going to read anything into that.

A few changes forced on us this week. Lindsay is back, Nat Butcher starts at lock. Tupouniua named, but that will have to be confirmed later in the week.

Egan named in the extended squad, as is May.

We don't often beat Penrith these days, they are a bit of a bogey side for us I think. To be brutally honest, I'll be pretty happy if we show more improvement and are competitive. A win here is not vital, but a decent showing just might be. We have to make them work for everything they get. I'll be grinning like a bloody Cheshire Cat for a month if we manage to knock them off.

Some good news, maybe - Penrith have never won at the SCG (0-1)

    GO EASTS !!

Interesting bench. Wonder how the lock rotation will work.

What chance is Terrell May to make his debut against his brother?

This game will obviously show where we are at as a threat in this competition.

Parra was one thing, Penrith are another.

So young and exuberant. Talented across the park. Relentless.

I just hope we don't let the score get away from us.

Huge test against the best team in the comp but I'm more confident after last week's performance which was a line in the sand moment for our season.
Want to see us competitive and stay in the game for as long as we can.

I'd say most supporters are keen to see May play considering all the good raps he has been getting.

wouldn’t be surprised to see Hutchison drop off the bench, marschke start at 9, Watson 13, nat to bench, especially if sitili fails concussion protocol

Would like Gus to start a Lock, Marschke bench hooker, Butch left back row and Watson coming off the bench at Lock.

No way will be go in with 3 front rowers on the bench. Also Sitilli must be doubtful.

Have we worked out how to stop Kikau yet?

Rush him - his hands are not the best.

I think it would surprise Hutch! In his interview he gave no hint that he would be playing - quite the opposite.

I like the team named, though not convinced with Watson at 9. He hasn’t been playing playing to near his best yet.
