  • JWH - should he challege>

Personally, I think JWH should challenge his fine. He is singled out more often than not and I just wonder how many times he's been put on report only for the case to be thrown out.

He wasn’t swearing at the referee - more a case of the incident at the time.

Speak up JWH - and prove what an absolute tool and how discriminate this Sutton is (and the same goes for Klein, Cummins etc). Then and if he wins - maybe the refs might give him a break - good luck with that.

Just my thoughts of course but I can appreciate his frustration.

Best to pay up and claim the payment of the fine as a tax deduction in his 2021/22 income tax return.

The fine was for the carry on as you put it. The hit to the head was thrown out.

Are there additional fines for speaking your mind at the judiciary? If not then I would be happy to chip in for the extra $700 fine for forgoing the early plea, as long as JWH calls Sutton a c*nt and tells the judiciary to GAGF.

As it should have been. What's the game become for crissakes?

And if JWH gets any more fines, we may need to start a gofundme page.

For the carry on mate - can't contest that either - not saying I didn't love it but he deserves what he got for the spray

Another player swore (said bullshyte) whilst "speaking" to a ref on the weekend - naturally nothing came of it because that player isn't JWH and the ref isn't little gerry.

Was it an 8 point try though ?

                  Possible Eight Point Try

If a player fouls an opponent who is touching down for a try, a penalty kick at goal shall be taken from in front of the goal posts after the attempt to convert the try.

                  Touching down includes:

                  a. In the act of scoring; and

                  b. Until the try scorer regains his feet.

Wait until we go down the AFL path and get penalised for just raising your arms up to question a call.

Can anyone tell us all of what he said? I caught bits but would love to know all of it.

“You take every opportunity you get to put me on report, don’t you reckon,” Waerea-Hargreaves said to Sutton.

“I’m just saying. Every time bro, every f***ing time. It’s not fair mate, I’m telling you.”

At that point, Sutton had heard enough and binned him as Waerea-Hargreaves protested “no, no, no” before James Tedesco ushered his teammate away.

Waerea-Hargreaves began walking off while barking back his protest two more times at Sutton.

“Every f***ing time bro. Every time,” he said.

Sutton simply responded with “go” and Tedesco was forced to stop Waerea-Hargreaves walking back towards the referee.

I love JWH and the passion he plays with, and I think the penalty was BS, but you can't speak to the ref like that and expect to stay in the field. It's less about swearing and more about questioning the integrity of the ref.
