We can definitely win if we play like last week. We've beaten the Cowboys and Eels already, who are supposedly the teams to beat.

I'm happy call our losses to the Knights and Bulldogs uncharacteristic. They got us good when a lot of key players were still playing their first few games of footy together.

Say what you like about the Riff/Storm... Pap/Munster/Hughes/Smith/Grant and Edwards/Luai/Cleary/Koroisau (plus both forward packs) have played a loooot of footy together and should be expected to click. Whereas Teddy / Walker / Keary / Verrills / Watson (and more) are still building up that experience.

The Riff beat the Drizz 32-6 and last to Parra (which we beat). IMO while we're inconsistent, we're up there with the Eels, Sharks, Cows and Drongos (in fact we're farkin' beaten most of them). If we start the season by beating the Cows, Drongos, Eels and Sharks then we're in a really ****in' good place. IMO we're closer to a breakthrough than we think we are!!!

Things are starting to click. People better not be too disappointed when pin-point kicks from Keary and Walker are leading to doubles from Teddy/Toops/Manu/Suaalii/Momirovski every farkin' week. It really is an enviable roster that just needs a ~10-20% improvement before it's belting the Drizz and taking the Riff to the line.

Here we go again. The captain of the woke brigade here to call others with a difference of opinion names. It never changes.

Mickey is not being a negative Nancy. He’s just expressing that he has a feeling that we could be in for a tough night considering we are up against our old defensive coach.

I can see his point and he’s entitled that opinion. Not sure why you feel the need to try to put him down because of it though.
