Pearce stops forward movement from set plays rather than develop it.
His reliance on inside passes are embarrassing. It stops us cold.
Great defender, OK in open, ad-lib play - very very ordinary in set plays.

Forget Pearce, when will Mini learn to look for support... again dies with the ball with 2 unmarked players on the inside ... I have had enough of this crap, yeah he does some good stuff and noone denies his effort but he lets himself down time and time again with missed opportunities!
