Melbourne are gonna kick our arses next week unless something changes dramatically!

End result: Roosters win in scrappy fashion 14-8. Stand-outs were Pearce (first half), Aubo, Friend and Masoe. Mortimer done well but bombed a certain try. We could have won about 40-8 if we didn't keep bombing certain tries. It was exactly like our loss against Sharks in 2010 where we lost 18-12.

We struggled hard to beat a very busted Raiders. Great to get the 2 points but we could be looking at an absolutely hammering from Melb next week.

They really looked like worse than poor at times. Wonder if any of these issues will get addressed at training ?

If we play next week like today the Storm will put 50 on us, I cant believe we won today, it was an embarrassment to a park football game, let alone first grade. Thats all the positives of the game covered, no need to go into the negatives, you lot all seen it.

I dyed my hair last week to get rid of the grey which has been appearing lately. Should have waited another couple of weeks until after the boys have been to Melbourne..

We were ordinary..

The ball handling was woeful..

But WE WON..

They were inept,but they still found a way to win..

Looking past the negatives,we got the 2 points in a game we would've lost by 30 last year..

Some of the plays Bwaiff pulled off were game winners..

Pearce was actually running the pill..And breaking the line..

Maubs was his usual solid self..He worked overtime mopping up a very rusty SKD's errrors in defence..

Tasi was sensational in patches,& notches another NRL game on his belt..

JWH was inspirational..The best pig on the park..

Jake's running game is starting to develop..

If we hold 25% more ball we put 30 on the faiders IMO..

While i felt as much pain,frustration & angst as everyone else during the game,we got the chocolates..

We are now 2 from 3 after playing only 30 odd minutes of good footy..

If you had've offered me that at the start of the season i would've taken it..
