I’d think having the club survive is all the reward needed.
Without members there is no club & I don’t believe members deserve anything above having a club to support.

I had to cancel my families membership about 6 ago years after 13 years, we needed to cut some spending. I came back when the club needed us in 2020.
Worst thing was I went back to a 1 year membership.

I’ve had my lawyer read over the email and now I’m clear. Basically the new seating plan encourages you to dig deep and buy gold. Otherwise you’ll have a pretty average seat.

You do. You have options of either bronze, silver or gold.

I hope there isn't a big jump in pricing to go with the new stadium.
              You can count on it.

Does for me. I buy extra memberships just to support the club & due to living far away I haven’t been for 2 seasons yet just let my membership roll over. I purely buy them just to keep the club alive.
It’s so unbelievable that all NRL clubs are so pathetically low in membership numbers which is why they’re all weak financially & always in trouble.

Just not what I want from a footy experience, maybe I'm just an old skool duddy.

For what it's worth, SFS was my fave ground...none of the above shit.
thanks furry, I had no issues with the old stadium, but I suppose majority covered seats is a plus, and for the new age, wifi seems to be a necessity at stadiums these days.

As long as the view is good I’ll be happy, sometimes we forget that we are only there for a couple hours to watch footy.

Bronze and Flexi members have been a poor outcome.

You can creep over most of the time anyway so it's no drama. I find most people just get in and then slowly shuffle over once it becomes clear which seats are vacant.

Ticketed membership gets you priority on finals tickets (which you can scalp to opposition fans for $$$ if we don't make it). IMO that's the big thing...

Thinking of cancelling my membership now.

Dude, come join us in the Chookpen….the atmosphere is awesome and from the seating plan the seats don’t look that bad for Chookpen Flexi memberships.

I kept up my season tickets for 6 years while living overseas to ensure first rights to the new stadium memberships.

I knew full well that the club would find some way to **** us over, given there was no chance we’d be able to get seats as good as our old ones (about 5 rows behind the tunnel. Right on halfway. No better view in any stadium). I was ready to have to pay some premium or just not get the best allocation.

But didn’t you know it the club figured out a way to disappoint me even more by converting the entirety of bay 14 into a corporate wankfest.

we’ll apply for gold, but only pending prices. If they approach SCG membership dues then I’ll be cancelling my membership and just getting those instead

Depends how much the lower 'bowl' seats, the bays don't look as big as they used to be. Then there is the second tier and third tier, I reckon they will look to at least fill the whole bottom tier first... probably holds 15k looking at it.
