Honestly how much can they increase it with all the bloody home games we take away.?? Gosford,Mackay,Magic Round even Adelaide etc etc.
I’m expecting around a 20% increase. We have to commit to our level of membership before the draw is announced. You could get gold and then be told that we only have 9 home games. If you’d known this in advantage you may have chosen silver. As long as we smash Souths I’m happy.

We are talking about home games home seats right?
the place seats 42 thou right?.
Home fans accumulate fir what 9 to 15 thou big games maybe 20+.
So why the need to put season ticket holders behind the posts?.
I get the Trust is more influential in bleeding the fans.
They need to rethink this before shooting themselves in the foot.

For what it's worth, SFS was my fave ground...none of the above shit.
I went to the opening of the SFS (plastic stadium)............and found it a very sad occasion.
I loved the old sports ground.
Maybe I'm "old skool" as well.

Parramatta's memberships pretty much doubled in cost.

How do the fans benefit when their new seats are significantly inferior to their olds ones and will cost a lot more. I will be going from a silver membership, sitting in Bay 14 on the halfway line, about 10 rows behind the players bench, on the Western Side, to possibly sitting on the 10 metre line on the Eastern side, facing the sun on albeit the rare day games and paying a lot more than I use to.

It's a bit hard selling that benefit. The people benefiting from the stadium are the corporate supporters and the builders who received our tax dollars to pay for it. For which we are slugged again as users of the ground.

Yeah Souffs fans get that and I'm not convinced it'll be any better than a ~$10m refurb of the old stadium. Honestly... what's done is done and I'm not gonna whinge all day but it was blatant pork barrelling and the way they rammed it through the system during caretaker period was shonky as fark. Gladys was corrupt and we now know that for certain... they got her on a small thing but often mud doesn't stick, so it was really just a token gotcha moment.

That said, this isn't about shady state politics! We're bronze members all the way and we do it to support the club. My son has Vietnamese school on Saturdays and I'm still not all that keen on big crowds so it's pretty rare that we are actually gonna use the membership to watch games. Heck... we'll be paying full price this weekend to watch the game in Canberra and that'll be our first live game of the year.

                  Benefits as I see it?

                  - You back your club above all. I see my tickets as a gift for backing them, but not something I really care about.

                  - You're guaranteed grand final tickets and quality seats for finals matches (which is when I pull out the plastic for games).

                  - While everybody can attend (they never police it), you'll get invite/ to meet and greet sessions and other things like that.

Surely you would have to factor another 20% increase on top due to the war in Ukraine

No one will get wet when it rains, just like we were told for the previous stadium.

Yeah I remember they said that for the old SFS & went along for a big crowd game & got soaked first time attending.

I have Premium A seating. In my lounge room. That's why I fork out money to Murdoch so I don't have to sit out in the freezing cold getting abused by inbred toothless Rabbitohs supporters.

We've gone from square/boxy (Cronulla/Redfern/ES Marks-style stadiums) to spaceships (~2000's) back to square/boxy stadiums with spaceship veneers.

I don't believe anything I read about 'better view' and 'less wetness'. Unless they build a closed-in, climate-controlled stadium (which is what you should be farking getting for $1 billion, farkin'!!!!! We were sooo ripped off in that deal...) then the following will still apply:

                            - People siting behind the goalpost will have NFI what's going on unless play is under the said goalpost (same as if you went to a local footy ground and stood under the goalpost, watching an amateur game... which would give you a BETTER view BTW!!!) Their one saving grace is that there's a MASSIVE TV screen, but like... I have a MASSIVE TV screen in my house (which also has better quality beers/nibblies, cleaner toilets and a constant 23'C temperature... only downside is that I have to listen to shitty commentators if I use it).

                            - Unless the roof's on (I think they have one at least?) then everybody who isn't sitting in a corporate box will get wet. This includes Wayne L, who you won't see whinging about any of this shyte on here!!!

The club refers to your type as “fans” rather than “supporters”.

I think the NRL needs to make it more attractive for fans to be supporters. Address the price of tickets, beer, food, transport and parking and make it more appealing to families. The premium home experience is pretty nice but nothing beats being at the game.
