I think SCG membership is about $750 per year? Surely they can’t make it more than that
Except there is a long queue to become an SCG member.

Yes 9 to 12 years unless you want to skip the wait list and pay the money to become a gold member - $11k or a Platinum member $44k plus annual fees - Gold and Platinum members also get access to Alliance Stadium matches/parking and facilities.

I remember my Mother was thinking of being a SCG member the top one at the time - $8 k or so back then - mid late 1980's

You know reading all this angst and disappointment from fans due to the way they feel let down by the club over this It really makes me glad I’m now a foxtel fan as opposed to a supporter at the games

Foxtel's coverage is great, warm lounge room, cheap beer and Pizza....but you can't beat supporting your club at the game and riding the emotions with other Easts supporters. As I get older I do appreciate doing my tiny part and supporting the club financially also.

I spent decades supporting this club at games and at a time and period where we were a laughing stock Watched us turn into a powerhouse club I’ve been to 3 games since we won our last GF and I’m in no hurry to go to another Plus I’m seriously thinking of leaving Sydney late this year back to a warmer climate

Just not what I want from a footy experience, maybe I'm just an old skool duddy.

For what it's worth, SFS was my fave ground...none of the above shit.
Ok, I get what you mean now, it was like a rock concert, good stadium though, but that constant artificial noise wore thin after a while. I’m sure plenty enjoy it, especially the younger fan.

it does look odd when the main lights are off and pretty much one whole side is lit up in corporate boxes.

for a parra fan it is still in a perfect position next to their leagues club, and easily accessible for everyone.

true but a one off fee of $11k for a gold membership is not that tall an order for 2 people.

toy get a guest pass with a gold membership, so that fee is split across 2 people. If I intend on attending games for another 10, 20, 40 years a one off $11k fee means nothing if the annual fee is going to be about the same for my roosters season ticket vs SCG membership.

Did the club give any indication on when they are going to give us pricing for these memberships?
