Although I am not sure that Smith is a dummy half - more a lock /loose running forward

Surely Manly would want him.

I see Lam as the handyman with no skills.
When asked why he's referred to as "handy" he says "Because I live around the corner".
He can play, shown last season.
Made breaks, can tackle, can pass well.
He helped get us into the top 4 when the stars were injured.
He has Roosters values, and is ready to fill it if we get injuries.
No trouble off the field, loves the Roosters, and will always do his best.
He doesn't cost a fortune.
Handy to have around.
He's young, but is already trained to play first grade.
The High Performance dept should be able to keep him primed and ready to play at a moments notice.
Fine style of a young man, just what the Roosters need.

Ltitle Lam should summate his situation at Bondi Junction and fly the coop to ESL in my opinion.
Who knows it might aide his development and return to the NRL a more competent player ala Jacko Hastings.

In one post you say we need centres the size of Capewell and in another you are endorsing Lam as a centre. Or was that just your alter ego talking rubbish?Last edited by Thirteen; 06-09-2022, 01:32 PM.

what is Tapine contract at the raiders? Wouldn’t mind him for a reasonable price.
The Raiders wouldn’t let him go and on the back of that, we couldn’t afford him but I wouldn’t be unhappy to see him here if we could.
