  • “For we are ONE and free” in the national anthem… WTF??
You can’t go changing the words of our national anthem to suit agendas.
Aunty whatever her name was, just got through saying indigenous Australia is made up of over 100 different smaller tribes and nations…not exactly “ONE”
The words are “YOUNG and free”, changing them just causes derision and division, not unity.
Leave the bloody lyrics of our national anthem alone OR just change the whole thing to Down Under by Men at Work as should have been done decades ago. Lol

is this the first time you have heard the anthem for a few years? Been like that for a while now.

Whereas Munster and DCE played very heads up. Like Sam Walker! Laugh, but you never know what young Sam could do at this level even now.
Thanks mate. Agree totally. Though, Walker is still too slight to play at the Origin level. NSW are in the poo when he is.

Brandy is part of Freddy's brains trust so don't think they will touch the panfer players, so they'll make Toops the sacrificial lamb. Can't tell me that Addo Fox would've have made any improvement to what Toops did in Origin 1, in fact he wouldn't have done a quarter of the hard carries that Daniel did the other night. But afraid that Toops will unfairly shoulder the cost.
can't see him dropping toops. if latrell's fit he'll come in for staggs and freddy can use a bench spot more sensibly than giving it to stephen crichton,

          • No way in the world will Tupou be dropped.
Hopefully Latrell is fit to play.

            • I'd agree on the criticism of Damien Cook in the opening game.
Did anyone else think that he stifles the NSW attack?.
One of those players that no one on his team knows what he is doing, and even he doesn't know what he is doing.
I think NSW would be much better served by Api.
And that game should also be the last origin match for Tariq.

That sounds like Munsters assessment of his own game in the postgame interview . I'd hang onto Cook a bit longer . Still bloody deflated after that loss and what could have been . Hopefully level the series in Perth and beat the cane toads in Brisbane, but we're up against in after that loss . Teddy and paulos no tries had its toll psychologically.

                • Did anyone else see Jerome Luai handle ref Ashley Klein the other night?
Remember back a bit when they said under no circumstances could you touch the ref, some players got fined for it I think.
Luai was penalised I think & when in discussion with Klein he's given Kleins left shoulder a nice rub for about 3 seconds, it was more than a touch.

Sam Moa did the same thing with a friendly gesture and copped a week.

He’s going to get it by default anyway. Hasn’t Toups aligned with Tonga?

I think he said he want to represent Tonga at the World Cup, but will be available for the blues this series.

Ok cool. I could have sworn I heard the commentators during the Parra/Dogs game say he was going to play for Tonga in rep round.
