    He's a LEFT winger.
Blues got that horribly wrong and paid the price.
I think we all know (especially us Chooks fans) that Toops does have a game like that in him every now and then. He was the best winger on the field for both game 1 and especially game 2 but last night he was just a bit off. Perhaps the early carnage within the first 10 mins (seeing Collins go down early right in front of him with an HIA) rattled him a bit ?

    Who knows ?

PS: Cleary should have bloody utilised him on that wing with aerial attacking options but he never did ... not once ! the closest kick in that direction landed close to Stephen Crichto

    • Brilliant win to Queensland.
      Brilliant game plan by Slater.
Take them on up the middle, kick early and kick long, force their forwards to work hard and then make them run back 50 metres.
Kick and chase from Queensland was awesome.
Then brutal defence, put NSW under pressure by having to come out of their own half time and time again, force errors.
That formula will win any game of footy.
The NSW big heads, over confident, under skilled under pressure fail again.
      Sweeeeet.

      • If Pearce was our HB last night we would not hear the end of it and how he would’ve cost us the game last night.

But with quagmire on the other hand? Crickets. I think last night showed that his kicking game is overrated and if you rush up on their halves they flutter.

        • That bogan looking dude from the Sharks - Talakai - dude is the worst player in Origin since Mitchell Pearce. He wins the Pearce trophy.

Also what about Tino holding Burton. What a dog. He wins the Ian Roberts/Mathew Ridge Medal. Well done.

Finally, who told Burton he knows how to throw a punch? Dude got whooped.

          • Also, the farking commentary. I don't care if they are biased but the clowns must have said 50 times in the second half what a classic origin it was. Boring, repetitive noise. Just shut up and watch the game.

Also shout out to Joey Johns for his epic dummy spit. He wins the Origin Sook of the year Award. The thing I love the most about Origin is watching the reactions of the losing state. Its hilarious, like Origin actually means something or that we are actually at war with Queensland. I reckon when I move to Queensland next year I'm going to pretend I'm a native to fit in lol.

It’s a great place to visit and I have property there but I would NEVER call myself a QLDer. Never ever!

Don't you find it funny? Watching grown men cry over a footy match cracks me up.

Yeah I do, but like you I don’t understand the whole paranoia around it. It’s a game of footy at the end of the day lol no different to our Victorians or western Australians etc

Safety and anonymity. Those Queenslanders tend to take it seriously.
