QLD once again too good in the key moments. Their spine was unreal.

The Blues looked so structured and keen to run block plays which never seemed to amount to anything. Spine didn't seem to create much.

Also, i may cop a lot of flack for this - but running the ball a lot doesn't mean you're necessarily adding more value to the team if that's not what your team needs in those moments. Teddy spent a lot of time running but not much in passing/playmaking - perhaps this is what Freddy wanted from Teddy, but it meant the spine never really posed a threat together. Players hold back and don't support when they think all Teddy is going to do is run

As a QLD Rooster I am very proud of the maroons grit. It was a big win. I hope Collins is ok and that our three blues boys pull through physically and don’t have to much of a downer.
interesting to see how the much lauded Penrith combination at the scrum base fell to pieces. Luai is an overrated cretin. Didn’t see the grub leading his pray circle last night

TBH I wasn't all that geared up because QLD were clearly on top for the entire second half.

We had some decent try savers and it was satisfying seeing Harry Styles getting denied after that stupid finger wiggle dance he did when claiming he'd 'grounded' the ball.

It was clearly QLD's year though. We were stupid to lose the first and they had the home advantage for the 3rd. Do I care that a heap of Pemriff stars under-performed? Not really...

Of course it’s for fundraising, when the greedy little players keep putting their hand out for more money, the game has to reap as much revenue as they can, and origin was said to be worth about 1/5th of total revenue.
