Cleary and Luai just really, really bad. Both offered nothing.
I dont think we have anyone better. In saying that Lattrell and Turbo made them look good last year All they had to do was pass to them

Agreed, Teddy a little quiet in the first half but really wrestled back momentum for NSW in that second half.

Toops was great in yardage, didn’t get one good kick from Cleary all night to be fair and still not sure if that was a foward pass or not. Didn’t see a definitive camera angle.

Collins seems to be getting back to his best, been a great last month of footy and really positive signs. Hopefully can start to up his minutes and get back to doing what he’s doing over 60minutes and not just the 30-40 he’s putting out at the moment.

Like every run for this guy is intense, what level of hardness are you looking for?
        Nice try, not even close.
Im looking for that same hardness as his first run tonight. Which is what my original post was about.

Happy for you to keep trolling through videos to try to make a point.

I thought luai was ok, threw a great cut out for the first try, and then a nice short one for the second.

not sure how DCE strolled through for that try from a scrum.

I felt like it wasn't, but neither was QLD's so if I'm gonna nitpick, it's more likely QLD woulda bagged another try if the refs hadn't stepped in like that.

Paul Gallen in the sheds interviewing the blues and saying to each player “don’t worry you’re still alive”
              WTF!
Of course they’re still alive. You don’t turn up to play origin thinking “I hope I don’t die tonight”

IMO they pulled Paulo into the scrum, tore a hole by doing so, Sims missed what was going on and DCE strolled through.

I dunno the rules but to me it's a joke that one of our earlier tries got disallowed (rightfully) due to that whole outside shoulder thing (the bloke who ran in had literally nowhere to go & the defender just sat there crossing his arms in a 'no try' motion instead of trying to make a tackle) then because this call never happens, the refs likely viewed it as controversial to say 'he was held in the scrum... if it looks too easy, there is ALWAYS a reason'.

Teddy, Jack, Toops NSW best (Rooster goggles, maybe).

                  Munster, Val, Pat QLD best.

Unfortunately Robbo has to put their health first and surely rest both. Collins should be ok to play IMO
Teddy almost has to play if not injured. We will not beat Melbourne with that same backline as last week.

More a case of NSW being rather conservative with their game as when they started to play some footy they created opportunities only to be stopped by last ditch QLD scrambling defence.

QLD picked an inform team and obviously Slater , Thurston , Smith are no mugs so they would have come up with a game plan and tactics to nullify NSW and the main NSW players.
Yeah nah sorry. Matto looks out of place for NSW.

Agree but Robbo has showed he’s willing to put player welfare first and also trust in his systems - which includes resting. So, if not this weekend then Teddy will sit out soon. He did put his body through hell tonight and I’d be thinking twice about putting him out there again after two days rest.

Mate I’m lost if you think there’s a difference in intensity of carries there, I think you must be looking for a different kid of hardness and I can’t help you with any videos there.

Changes for game 2: Latrine hopefully back in the centres. Either Ryan Papenhuzen or Nicko Hynes on the bench for Stephen Chricton.
