      • Sure we made a crap tonne of errors, missed a heap of tackles and made some poor last tackle options but I’m not overly upset with the loss. (Didn’t think we’d win anyway).
For the first 55 minutes we were the better side.
It didn’t help Kez went off.
Hopefully we can take some positives out of the game and use it as motivation to beat Parra next week

that’s how close it was with no Keary.

we beat Parra next week if Keary plays.
Not just the the kick off but after stopping back to back sets on our line after the kick off Hughes gets a repeat set and Tedesco takes a quick drop out trying to catch Melbounre off guard.. Let the boys catch their breath just doesn't seem to read the game like a captain should. He does this often and I don't get it.

            • Bit harsh on the sitilli drop. Certainly wasn't a sitter, he was falling to catch it, so heartbreaking tho he played really well

yes a tongue in cheek comment 13. However this is not - we don't make the 8 this year.

TBH he got there in good time & it was a mid chest catch. He's one our our best attacking weapons & knows his way to the try line....but boy he can butcher them also.

                  • The Roosters players, well most of them, did the jersey proud. Such a shame that the Roosters left side were badly exposed, that the idiot watson threw that forward pass, the kick out on the full by the captain, and the bad missed tackle (AGAIN) by SST that let that scumbag k#%tfusi score. As far as I'm concerned, that scum k#%fusi shouldn't have been on the field given his deliberate elbow on Sam Walker.

Another loss against the scum drizzle was expected.

One of the Roosters should inform the cheese to leave the diving act at the scum drizzle when he gets to the Roosters next year.

And don't forget he nailed one he (and others) would have fluffed too, to score earlier. Plus he was in position to have a crack etc...glass half full. He had a strong game.

                      • Bummer.
It was a good game of footy though.
If only Sitilli caught the ball. I thought Sitilli had a pretty good game but that knock on IMO has cost us the season. Its Parra & Penrith to come & if we dont win we are stuck on14 points with a bye to come to take us to 16, we would then have to win 6 out of 8 to make the 8.

                        Credit to Melbourne.
                        What a magnificently coached club.
Some posters on here who posted before the game that the Melbournes backs were nowhere near our backs have egg on their face. Melbourne continue to develop no names who play like champions when given their chance. Im so envious of Melbourne. If the Chooks dont win the comp & I know they are not going too I hope Melbourne win it.

Agree with that assessment. The Roosters left side has a habit of making ordinary players look like world-beaters. Bye bye top 8.

                            • Oh I forgot to give Hutch a rap too. Ok I don't pick him in our top 17 but...tonight he went the distance, changed positions and didn't really miss a trick.
