If it was up to these "experts" the Roosters would have different squads every year - Not many players have avoided their wrath over the years one has to say.
Only one team wins the comp every year - no disgrace if they don't win.Last edited by King Salvo; 06-12-2022, 06:57 PM.

The job for the coaching staff and the key to the season going forward is to get weekly 80 minute performances from the team and individual players and address the issues with the basics.
Their best is up with the best but as I said above you have to do it for 80 minutes which they have been unable to do thus far.
Here's a list of players off contract in 2022 by position - which ones would you consider signing.

Unless we are to emulate West tigers player turnover ( obvious how successful that's been) , we have no choice other than identifying and developing promising young talent, and if not the current group emerging, then the next.
We are no longer a club where top line players will be OK to sign / play for less money, as it would be for a greater chance of a premiership ring.
In the 53 years and 6 premierships, that I have followed the Roosters, win or lose, despair and elation, I have respected every players commitment to our colours.
As to Momo and Connors, I don't recall to much of an outcry to their return to the Roosters, no one would be more disappointed with their form than themselves.

I am not defending Momo too much, but defending next to Sammy Walker would make me look farking average too. His thinking / positional play disrupts the line.
I honestly think if he was defending next to Manu, we would want to drop him to reserve as well.
The amount of traffic coming down that left side is relentless.
