Rubbish , we are 7 and 7 .We as you say we're currently competitive .So what did being competitive give us 2 points . Did it move us up the ladder or down. Being competitive doesn't win comps and that's what been should play for .We are not the dogs or tigers we are the Roosters and being competitive is just not enough.
He has to change it up and stop being too loyal, but then, do we have anyone better pushing for first grade? Any takers on Curtis Scott? Any good players in Jersey Flegg ready to step up?
He's been criticised of being too loyal his whole career, when will we move beyond this mind set of players must chnage everytime somethings not working? Continuity in team and belief in skill over form seem to work in the long run far more often than change for the sake of change.
Point is we cannot forever live in the past like Souffs...thought that was obvious.
Point is Robbo's performance should be scrutinized like all others or should we just give him 1 million per yr for the next 20 yrs without care for performance.
I'm not anti-Robbo...just saying any constructive criticism is fair...he has been here 9 yrs so recruitment is mostly his responsibility.
And no, I'm not calling for his sacking...or anything drastic like that.
I agree that his performance should he up for criticism, everyone's should.
I just think his 2 premierships in 4yrs should hold some weight when discussing his current ability to perform, you dont just forget how to coach.
Souths premierships 50yrs ago have no relevance on their ability today.

And Roosters premiership 3 and 4 years ago have no relevance to our 2022 ability .Never rest on your lorals , it breeds laziness
They speak to Robinson's competence and ability, which is my point.
Has nothing to do with resting on one's laurels, laziness would be to not use all the data available to you to anlayse our current situation and just base it on the last 14 weeks.
So Billy who should take responsibility for there poor form and preparation. Surely the buck must stop somewhere . In all businesses there is a head of the snake. Missing tackles is a poor sign of a bad attitude and that is on the coach and his staff
It is usually the case that the coach is nominated for the failure of their side, the nature of the beast. As in this case, a group of topline footballers in a professionally managed and successful club, with an astute coach, that under perform, sometimes to the level of park footy, must take ownership of the lackluster effort. Could it be that the rest of the competition have us worked out, or they (some) are better than us?
If it is as it appears the supreme head of the snake has given the appointed head of the snake a free hand in the playing list, then I (contradictory) reluctantly agree that the coach is where the buck stops, rightly or wrongly.
Drop Momirovski, the worst buy in years, the bloke does not know how to tackle, why does Robbo keep playing him? FFS
If he was the reason for the losses then Robbo would replace him but of course he is not
Where Tries are Conceded 2022 so far - Left side 33% (10th ) - Middle - 31% (1st ) - Right side 36% (13th)
Fairly even where tries are scored - defence across the board needs to improve not only individual players - Noting that Walker is 8th in missed tackles with 50 and Manu 18th with 41 - Sitili 44th with 32 and Momirovski - 49th with 31 - One more game to play.

It would be nice for whoever says the buck stops with the coach also says how he should be held accountable.
Do you want him sacked? Pay cut? Walk through Bondi with Uncle Nick whipping him saying SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.

For me I want him to change things. Drop players ,give someone else a go , change the way we play . Watson to lock maybe .What have we got to loose. We are 8 and sliding fast .
We have lost some irreplaceable players to retirement and replacing them with adequate talent is proving to be very difficult no fault whatsoever of coach or players who give their all every game. It will just take time to replace those players so meanwhile we just accept the reality knowing that getting back to our best won’t happen overnight. In 2016 we came 15th but the following year finished 2nd. Let’s be reasonable and fair and give Robbo and the club a chance to rebuild after the retirement of so many top players.
