Honestly, if Keary needs a rest I'd like to see Watson at 5/8th. He won a medal for the best player in the Nines Tournament playing that position.

Most of of these folk on here dishing players one has to say don't have a great knowledge of the game and are really just venting mainly about the same players- One even suggested that Radley should play on the wing because they perceived him too small to play in the forwards.

They have the sideline as an extra defender - wingers can still drop back for the general field kick and switch for the attacking kick. It's not that difficult to understand how that would work.

Pretty daft to have halves especially the Roosters ones who are the smallest one would say in the NRL defending where they currently do and be targets for the oppositions attack and thus put pressure on inside and outside defenders.

The "they have to work it out" is not the solution one has to say. You need your halves as fresh as for the attack and not fatigued from being targeted in defence and racking up tackles.

As I said Walker is 6th in missed tackles with 50 after 14 games and a definite target and why teams are attacking the left side - he has weaknesses in his defence and his defensive choices are not always the best one has to say and this puts pressure on inside and outside defenders. In 2021 Walker had 72 missed tackles in 22 games

Keary although a better defender is still is a target - In 2022 Manu is 16th in missed tackles with 41 in 14 games - 2021 - Manu was 35th with 57 missed tackles in 23 games.

Momirivski had no issues with his defence at Penrith - why is that - mmm inside players better defenders than the Roosters ones and better defenders across the board-systems/structures and effort perhaps? - I would say yes

i think watson's been alright - he made a couple of errors at dummy half which wasn't good but he looked dangerous otherwise. he's had a disrupted season and every chance his best is yet to come

Craig wing when playing half defended on the wing a fair bit so no reason why it can't be done as i said - winger can drop back for the general field kick/ switch for the attacking kick/do the hit ups and if they run it on the last the sideline is another defender with the slide defence.
