We have lost to every shiit team we have played so far. Hopefully we break that trend against the Eels.

No one is working harder than Roosters HQ to get things on track… if it were easy then anyone could do the job. Easts know more than any club (since 1908) the pain of defeat & the joy of success… instead of wishing we had this player etc & that guy etc… (which I’m sure, if it was possible & a positive acquisition to our team & club, then we’d be working on it)… but work with what we have! Building that foundation for another future Championship side!

        RWB!

I read on another post, had limited time but got through game. That’s a start I guess.

I was watching the game on the Facebook feed on and off. I don’t know how he went when he came on, but he had some pretty classy touches late in the game. Can’t wait to have him back.

Side note but what a horrendous performance from the Eels. Shame they didn’t save that performance for us, but I think we’ve got their number this week. They won’t be this poor again though.

Thanks for the link... love seeing Collins fired up!!!

On a side note, I think he's been a quiet achiever. Seems to have put a lot of work into his strength/fitness and is shaping up as a potential 1 club player.

IMO the boys seem to be loving their footy. Rads and JWH will come back soonish too, giving us what I'd consider one of our most serious teams for a while. The second half of this season's gonna be great...

I know..particularly as they are now going to be at home too..oh well..time to step up and their last result should not impact our next result...Trent will have that well drummed into the team..the senior players will be smart enough to educate the younger ones on that front...can't use that as an excuse next Saturday night..

I feel like beating them, the Drongos, the Cows and the Sharks is important. No matter where we sit on the ladder, having the wood on them says 'we are a top-4 competitor on our day'.

Finals footy is all about having the goods on the day.

Yes the Riff and the Drizz have way more consistency than us. They're a cut above even with players out for Origin and stuff... nobody's ignoring that solid fact.

However unless we are REALLY unlucky, we won't be playing them in the finals unless it's for a first round bout (if we finish top 4), a preliminary final or the big dance. As such, what's important to me is knowing we're able to brush-off just about any other top-8 team. IMO we not only can, we're improving a LOT with Suaalii coming of age and Collins/Keary regaining pre-injury form.

IMO we're one of the big 3 if (big if)
                            - Verrills, Radley and JWH recover fully from those injuries and find form.

                            - Crichton continues to play for a contract and his form against the Drizz becomes consistent.

                            - We sort out our centres so that we're less leaky (those long-range breaks due to centres being caught-out cost us against the Drizz... cut them out and our defence is tight as).

                            - The above turns into consistency, with us putting away all the games we 'should' win, while beating either the Drizz or Pemriff before the finals.
