I believe he is a 5/8 and a good one at that, and should be ahead of hutch in that position (obviously not keary or walker) , and also believes at least offensively offers more than Verrills at hooker. At the very least based on his form in RG he should be ahead of Smith and recently Watson as utility. At the very least Momo can find his defensive feet in Reggies.
He scores about 60% of the Bears points, so they have nothing without him. Agreed though, he has played well at Center for them and should have been given another shot.

      Finally a sensible post...

Seriously though, there will be more pressure on Parra in front of their home crowd. They were diabolical against a rubbish team. We were not that bad really against Melbourne for a lot of that game..I know which team I'm happier supporting..

Great to see Luke, Billy and Sammy V all named. That backline is terrific from 1-7.

As mentioned can't see Watson and Hutch both on the bench.

Geez that bench will surely change. Another big body is needed otherwise Collins or SST is playing the full 80. Really like our back line now.

anyone else going to watch warriors vs penrtih. Curious to see how Volkman will go, if we've lost a good one

Couldn’t care. I certainly won’t be supporting him. He’s the enemy now. Don’t want to see him tearing it up for another club.

I'm surprised it hasn't been noted on The "Pen that the drizzle scumbag backrower who also plays for the qld morons has managed to overturn the fine he was charged with for his blatant elbow to Sam Walker's face. Seems there's nothing to see here and such grub acts are acceptable.

As for this week's Roosters team, that bench is VERY light when you compare it to the squeels' bench.

If it was JWH two weeks suspension for sure! Such a biased judiciary.

I think the bench tells us Keary is in some doubt. I expect May or DSF to join the bench with Hutch replacing Luke.

Billy Smith better not miss a tackle or he will be history - mmm eyes on Walker decision making in defence as well.

When Parra were well beaten vs Cowboys 35-4 they came out the next week and beat Penrith - Roosters need to be on top of their game for 80 minutes and expect a Parra bounce back.

Surprised Verrills is back as only had a short stint in NSW Cup and looked short of a gallop after a spell as they say.

I thought Smith defended very well against Canberra, I was surprised he didn't get a run against Melbourne, looking forward to seeing him this week. Verrills obviously needed badly to fill the dummy half role which Watson has struggled with. Maybe Watson will be better if just used as an impact 14, although if Keary plays, I would consider dropping Watson and have Hutch on the bench and add May or DSF.

Hutch drop off? He's our new Aubbo, except he can kick! I'd rather see Watson out.

Don't be surprised if Smith and Joe S swap positions during the game just to ease him in. Why not?

We've gotta start getting our combinations right and making our progression into the top 6.
Yeah I feel like Suaalii's defence is there, which could be what says 'this dude is a centre...'

Just my thought but I wouldn't mind Suaalii playing centre in defence (as he squares players up better than Smith/Momo), then moving to the wing for attack so that he can emulate Toops with that combo of damaging metres down the middle and owning the air as a last tackle option.

Whatever happens, more ball in Suaalii's hands is gonna be a good thing.
