I’m convinced Keighran has pissed someone off behind the scenes. It was reported the Raiders were looking at him earlier this year, and also wouldn’t be surprised if the Dolphins were also looking at him. I believe he is a 5/8 and a good one at that, and should be ahead of hutch in that position (obviously not keary or walker) , and also believes at least offensively offers more than Verrills at hooker. At the very least based on his form in RG he should be ahead of Smith and recently Watson as utility. At the very least Momo can find his defensive feet in Reggies.

I do have a couple of reliable sources from some mates in at the Doggies (at the time) when AK was there. Apparently he's a nice bloke but is very blunt and has quite a high opinion of himself and clashed hard with both the ressies coach and Des' staff when he was there. Could be some truth to him not getting picked because of his personality. It is hearsay but as I said, quite reliable even if the info is 4-5 years old now. He may have changed.

I think he's done a servicable job in a number of positions for us in first grade and hasn't been any worse than BS, Momo or Naiqama when called upon. You could even argue that his limited time in the hooker role early last year he's done better than Watson. Add in the fact he's an 80% goalkicker and a big body makes it a little confusing he isn't getting picked very often.

Geez. Seeing us at 9th spot is very disappointing. Our upcoming games are must win if we are to get into the 8. We’ve gone from 5th a few weeks ago to 9th. We’ve played some good footy lately but not getting the 2 points. I think we are much better than many teams above us but we do get a bad deal from the refs and bunker consistently.

Most of the teams in front of us have had the bye which changes it a little, but yeah, if we don’t beat parra, we are a chance of slipping to 11th. I don’t want to worry about other teams losing to keep us in the 8, no point being in the 8 if we can’t get there by winning ourselves.
