Lol. Moses is much better than Daniel MOrtimer.

Having said that, he is NOT worth 1 million a year (which is what he'll be looking for, and is what his next club will likely pay)

But Burton , there is a guy to chase.
I watch the Parra/ Dogs game last night - Burton absolutely tormented Parra with his kicking game.
Spiralling punt kicks that reach the stratosphere, really difficult for anyone to catch them
Then he placed the ball on a dime for Addo - Carr to score.
Just like he tormented the Roosters when we played the Dogs.
Burton is quick as well , elusive sidestep, a great ball runner and great defender
Centre threequarter ? Do we need one? Five- eigth ?
Just what you need in a player.
          Yes please.

Just for arguments sake he’s a much better fit for Walker than Burton or Munster which have been the previous rumours.

But lets be real none of the rumours are real and of all the rumours that would maybe be real this would be the least likely to happen given he already screwed our club over.

You think so? I think you would rather a bigger body 5/8 alongside Walker, who won't be such a weak link in defence.

Why? It's not like the 6 and 7 defend next to each other. Moses has a longer kicking game than Walker and takes more control that Burton who is predominantly a running 5/8th.

No way, since when? You ok to have weak defensive halves on both sides of the field?

Have you seen the size of Burton's boot? It's not a problem having a running 5/8, given that Walker is really a halfback. Moses and Walker are more similar players and I would rather back Walker going forward to lead the side. Afterall alongside Hutch with half our team out, he helped us to the top 8 in his first season.

I disagree. Keary has controlled all our play to date and Walker has been fantastic playing his 'off the cuff' style. In a few years time he might be experienced enough to control the team without it impacting his attacking game but not at this point in time. And on the defence, Moses is no worse than Keary so I don't see the issue

I think Sam Walker’s deficiencies in defence are massively overplayed and he will only get better with age.

Burton has conceded 7 tries, 10 linebreaks in 14 games
Munster 5 tries and 7 linebreaks in 12 games
                        Walker 5 tries & 9 linebreaks in 14 games

There’s really not much in the difference between the 3.

I think Moses has proven he’s capable of playing as an organising halfback and would allow Walker just to continue to develop and create points which is what he does best. Sure some time in the future I’m sure Walker will transition into a halfback but listening to creative 5/8’s of the modern era by like Benji & Shaun Johnson that learning curve doesn’t really happen until your late 20’s.

I’ll say something controversial - I think Walker is the most creative half in the game currently and if he’s not it’s only a matter of time until he is. To sign another 5/8 and push him into the halfback role where he needs to be thinking about set transitions, tempo of play, structure & game management would be stifling to the creativity, flair & freedom that he currently plays with.

Which to me is absolute madness because Sam Walker is the most creative player in the game.

Keeping in mind this is all hypothetical as I’m sure Keary will be fine.

Sonny and Cronk were winners. Moses couldn’t win in a brothel loaded with a fist full of hundreds. He’s a loser and won’t ever win anything.

Whoever said blood is thicker than water obviously wasn't a Roosters fan..I think I have more Roosters blood in me anyway...happy for him to stay out west and keep the cousins entertained..there is a saying that our friends are the family we choose for ourselves.

I choose you lot..well most of you anyway...

I'll reiterate I would like my childhood team sliced and diced and preserved in aspic on Saturday night..same delicacy served up last time we played them thanks Roosters..

I say just get in there and ambush them right from kickoff and just steamroll them...I feel like I'm preempting Thirteen's match day thread but I am very much looking forward to this game..for those of you who are going..stay safe and warm..far cry from when we sat on wooden stands at Cumberland Oval getting splinters..no wonder the fans burnt it into the ground..

SBW scored in the public toilets. Should we go after Dylan Brown?

Moses would be a sideways or even backwards move from Kez. Another small half with an unpredictable kicking game. Not amazing in defence (although not terrible either).

He's a good player, I think he's underrated by the media but overrated by his salary/club. Not for me.
