I thought he played more like a 5/8 with Bwaiff sticking to his edge like a backrower.

Either way he takes some pressure off Pearceofshit who is stuck with all the playmaking duties.

Regarding Pearce, he looked good when he ran the ball today. He made a line break too. That makes at least two this season, something of a record.

His kicking game is still pretty rubbish. As are those bullet balls he's famous for.

But he's okay when he crabs across and goes to the line, Todd Carney style. At least it's something new in his game.

I'm interested to see how he went on the Fox replay.

I honestly don't see how, with our roster, ANY coach could be expected to win a comp.

One bit of support for a try and then one drop doesn't make for a saviour. He had a decent game against the vermin but that's where it's at. If and when he becomes a match winner in more than one then I might change my opinion, in the meantime I don't give a xxxx if he plays or not. With that said, we have won when he's been on so if anything, he might be a lucky charm.

Watching the game I was impressed with his positional play.
The guy has good footy sense, necessary for a 5/8.
He popped up WHERE he should have, WHEN he should have.
He has a turn of speed that a lot of our guys don't have.
He has good hands (usually.......ok dropped a sitter)
Give him more game time & I think we have our 5/8 for the remainder of the year.
