Our Second Half Defensive Efforts

As bumbling as we have been in the opening 3 rounds it's interesting to note that our second half defence has been okay:

v Souths 20 points (scored their last try with 30 mins remaining)
v Penrith 18 points (only scored 1 second half try)
v Canberra 8 points (No second half tries)

Too many hard, close passes that had bugger all chance of sticking. That was the problem with our attack.
The game plan actually looked ok this week. Fundamentals let us down.

There's always a game plan 56, it's just the players don't always stick to it. Happens in every team and every sport at some point, the players don't follow the plan.

All that mid week shit that many carried on with was just that, shit.

I believe we can only get better. Those sort of wins, ugly, are needed especially for a young squad. It can only give them confidence.

I'd much rather win ugly than lose pretty.

Canberra and Penrith threw SFA at us tbh and Souths went into their shells midway into the second half, not convinced by that stat.
