In 2023 I want to see the Roosters on fire from rd1. Take a leaf from Bellamy and the Storm. I also want to see the team win Every game it's supposed to. I want the Roosters way to mean hit the ground running. This has been our worst season since 2012 (worse than 16) and Robinson has to own it. Obviously we need to address our roster. Let go of some dead wood and replace them with better players. Losing Mitchell was the start of the decline, we just don't have the calibre of player to compete. We can't get near Penrith, Melbourne and even souffs. For me that horrendous loss to the vermin should've set off the alarm bells, we haven't been right since. This year was supposed to have been our return to the top, instead all we've seen is a clunky attack and woeful defence and once again Robinson needs to be accountable for it. We'll be better for Smith's arrival next year but there has to be other changes as well. No doubt every one will call me captain obvious but I have to say that my main concern is the coach and his methods, they definitely need fixing.

I'm fine with building the season as we go along, he's done it before successfully. Playing shit consistently has never been ok.
Parras attack today was red hot and is exactly the style that we should be aiming towards. It's confident, ruthless, direct and done at pace. Lots of inside balls and players running up in support.
Our attack in the other hand looked ao dysfunctional and lacked direction. Too many line balls and low percentage plays. When it comes off it's great, but it's super risky and leads to too many turnovers. It's not great footy. It relies on individual brilliance.
Also pains me to say - but whilst Teddy is a lot of heart, he's starting to fall into the trap of overplaying again IMO. He needs to free up his outside backs more often through early ball. The opposition know he's going to run it 9/10 times.

Seriously, does every fan expect their team to win the grand final every single year?
I don't follow other sports much apart from taking a passing interest in the UK Super League..how many other teams from other sports have won 3 grand finals in 7 years, 2 back to back? I always said this season was going to remind me of 2016 and looks like I was right..it's unsustainable to expect a team to win every single year.."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli
