    Move on from 2019.

Just use the ignore function like I do. It makes for a much more pleasant viewing experience. I've just added another grumpy one to the list. Serenity now..

Tough call but the Roosters cannot continue playing at this level of mediocrity! What other solution?

Seriously, does every fan expect their team to win the grand final every single year?

I don't follow other sports much apart from taking a passing interest in the UK Super League..how many other teams from other sports have won 3 grand finals in 7 years, 2 back to back? I always said this season was going to remind me of 2016 and looks like I was right..it's unsustainable to expect a team to win every single year..
The level of privilege and expectation amongst our fans is absurd. Robbo is in a sense a victim of his own success.

He is the most successful Roosters coach in our 114 year history.

2022 has been a mediocre year. Other than that, our only really poor season under Robbo was 2016.

And even still, 2022 is not over. There's one great team in this competition, one very good one, and that's it. If we are fit and rolling come finals time we can absolutely go on a run to the GF. The Eels made the GF from 8th in 2009. The Dogs from 6th in 2014. And the Cowboys from 7th/8th in 2017. It happens fairly often. No reason we can't do it as well.

But if that run doesn't eventuate there's still no need to overreact. The Golden State Warriors won 3 titles and then had a couple of poor injury affected seasons. And now they've regrouped to win another title. Who's to say we don't do that in 2023.

With the devastating and sudden retirements of our twin captains in Cords and Friend we were robbed of a succession plan. So shockingly, in such a world class and brutal sport, there's been an adjustment period.

But I'm still backing that the adjustment will end in 2023; or just sneakily post Origin 2022.

Have faith you primadonnas. Robbo has earned our trust.

This ‘we’ll just slowly play our way into the season’ has to stop. It’s not working. I’ve said it before. It’s bred lazy players who can’t play 80mins of footy but rather play in moments.

Its almost at a point where Robbo has reached a precipice of time.
            Are you available to coach?
