  • Tapuha ?

    What has happened to Tapuha?

Baker and DSF are not impressing me Soufs can have them both.
I haven’t seen enough of May , but it’s a no from me so far.

Ive only seen a little bit of Tapuha in the all stars game , looked good.

Jared on his last legs , SST leaving , looks like we have only one decent front rower in Collins going forward.

I agree. I just can’t understand why we are playing DSF when he’s leaving for the scum. If he was a gun it’s a different story but he’s a reserve grade plodder at best & we are building him up for them.
I honestly just don’t see anything that good in Baker or Butcher & think next year our Forward pack without SST & with a nearly finished JWH will be the biggest powederpuff pack in the comp.

got an ankle injury for the bears couple weeks ago, was going for scans and the club has said nothing since.

shame, cause he looked good for the bears when I was able to watch.

also a bit worried about our forwards over the next few years.

I thought Baker was very good last night, put in plenty of effort, and Fafita was good as well. I don't think Tapuha would have changed anything, and I guess the coaching staff agree, because he wasn't there.

So far I’m not a massive fan of any of those young guys (baker, may, DSF).
Baker is just super slow. He definitely has some great things to his games but just that speed.
Apart from Mays first run of his career I haven’t seen much, he does need more time though.
I’m only basing this on first grade.

Also JWH is a weird one. I know he has done a hammy but the club have been super quiet on it. Robbo said he wouldn’t be back next game in 2 weeks?

He was that good that he got hooked by the coach and I think he didnt even come back on after that.

            Great insight Bert.

Why pick DSF? Stupid decision, leave him in reggies, we need to move on.
Better off sticking with committed players who are sticking around.
Perhaps pick him against souffs but that's it.

From what I have seen so far of Baker, his defence is his strength.

HIs attack looks slow, Ive seen Scott Gourley make more ground before the D line however he can't sprint off the line in D so I don't know why he is so slow with the ball in hand.

Really ? 22min and looks gassed and ineffective for the most part. Same as DSF 17min of nothing. Zero impact from our bench forwards

Yeah really, they are both young forwards on minimum wage, and I thought Baker in particular played well against a rampaging Parra pack. DSF did ok, i doubt Taphua would have done better, and as I said, the coaches must agree..... but that's not saying I would not like to see him get a run if the coaches think he is the best option. Arm chair coaches here making suggestions without backing them up with facts are a waste of time

Quite easy watching a game on TV than actually playing it one has to say. The so called "experts" on here just play the man as we seen with Momirovski.

Tapuha is injured so Robbo cannot pick him even if he wanted to.

We already writing off May? What are we onto now, option #11?

What happens when Tapuha doesn’t set the world alight in his 4th game of First Grade, hopefully Atoni is back by then so we can try option #12.

Everything that hasn’t been attempted is imagined as the solution.

Smith was better last night than Momos recent appearances.
