Gotta love some Drew. It did steam me up in the moment he didn't get that ball to Teddy, a try was on, the one we needed. However i did pay attention to hutcho's body language late in the game. The guy was giving his all, physically, mentally.

As stated, he's just not a top echelon half. His wage would mimc that. And he's not supposed to be playing that much first grade but here we are and we're lucky to have him. Cast your minds back to the next coming of fittler halves we burned through under Ricky post 2004.

Would have loved a Hutch to fill in then.

I was only thinking the other day just how much we used to see Steve Noyce and just how little we see our CEO in the media these days.

I still have a letter Steve Noyce wrote to me and he would always return phone calls.

I was looking at a YouTube video from that comedy series The Wedge which used to be on Channel 10 (Rebel Wilson got her start on there) and they used to do a sketch around a fictitious sportsman called Mark Wary who was constantly giving press conferences apologising for something or other.

Underneath on the YouTube comments someone has posted "Mitchell Pearce brought me here" ..good grief....I'm not posting it as the content is quite vulgar but that doesn't mean anyone else can't go look for themselves...

I'd really like to know what this guy offers the team. He seems utterly incapable of managing a game with tactical kicks or clever passes. Was it Sitilli or Tedesco who was charging through a gap for a certain try, only for Hutchinson to not even sense they were there and therefore went to ground with the ball?

Has he EVER had a try assist with a last tackle bomb, chip or grubber? Yes
Has he EVER not found the FB or winger on the full with his last tackle kick options? Considering he's landed a couple of 40/20's then it's another yes

Has he EVER got us out of trouble with a 60m kick into space down field? See above, so it's another yes

Can he even launch a 40m touch finder on the rare occasion we get a penalty? Considering Keary normally kicks for line for us, it's hard to judge that one
In my view, the bloke couldn't pour pi55 out of a shoe if the instructions were on the heel!!! Your vision seems to be pretty poor all round, better get yourself off to Specsavers
