I dont disagree with anything you have said about Mortimer but I just dont think he is the guy to go with this week against the Storm any other team yes but not this weekend.

Ball security & defence is the key this week end not ad lib footy. Any mistakes you make against Melbourne will cost you big time & as exciting as Mortimer may be playing Melbourne doesnt suit his game.

Mortimer has nothing to do with ad lib footy. His strength is his support play and hole running.. Pearce was one of if not the worst offenders when it came to throwing stupid passes.

Option 1 - bring Cordner, Symonds, Bosden or Takairangi in as a straight swap for Guerra
Option 2 - bring in Mitchell, shift Mortimer to five-eighth, shift Anasta to backrow

For me its Anasta to repace Guerra Mortimer to replace Anasta Then add another forward to the bench

Morts needs to be 5/8 but coach has no balls.

Cordner for Guerra because he is faster than Symonds who wont be up to the Storm pace. Cordner needs to get off that organic $hit & eat the raw flesh of a mad bull on heat.

Anasta can fiddle in the back row, Maubs the Captain.

Moga is not playing V Storm...Carney & BJ showed guts & deserve another shot.
