WE NEED TO SERIOUSLY LOOK AT THIS KID ASAP !

He would make an excellent 5/8 pairing with Walker. Keary's ideal replacement.
    • Big body
    • Fast
    • Massive boot
    • Good goal-kicker
    • Young
    • Strong in defence

A second from me. Origin is going to help his development in the meantime as well.

would be nice, but wouldn't mind spending a bit of money on some props first

Wouldn't be writing Luke off too soon. Only 30 and has missed some miles on the clock through past injuries so think he and young Sam will be the combo for a few seasons yet.

His massive boot is what we are missing and so important in today's yardage game.

Jeez it was said he was one headknock away from retirement a few years ago and he isn't the player he was then. Not saying he's done as a player but the club has to start planning sooner rather than later.

Burton will be asking for 800k plus, and there will be plenty of clubs willing to pay a lot more, would we be one of those clubs if Keary is still fit to play?

I really like him. Butttttt... we have to understand that if we sign him it will be bittersweet, cause you can be certain that if you give someone not named Manu the 5/8 position, Joey will take a nice big million dollar contract to play fullback, and who can blame him.

Every single club would be interested in Burton

Has every attribute to achieve amazing things in the NRL

That's what everyone was saying the last time he was off contract.
I think Joey's already found his best position.

If only he would stay in position in defence and stop running up out of the line.

I dont think that's fully true. Yes, part of it was loyalty. I think it was also the smart decision. He knows that if he stays at the Roosters his value stays/rises because of how good we are as a club and system. The Warriors would give him a million and fullback, but hes going to a team where there will be no success and his value falls. His next contract will be his last big one as he will be 28. We wont give 1 million to a centre, another club will to play him fullback.

He would be a great signing and perfect partner for Walker. Problem is he won’t come cheap.
