Even 18months from now, this place would crucify a halves combination of Walker and Burton.

      Yeah I agree
I wonder will Robbo roll the dice this year and give Suaalii his shot at left centre to spark the left side attack that has been none existent since latrell.
I hope Smith's run of injuries are behind him , and we get to see him reach his full potential .

I cant see how the chooks could have Teddy, the 2 Joeys and add Burton without risking losing Suaalii...

          JAXSON PAULO

Souffs centre from last night looked good, can also play wing. Off contract after this year.

I like him. I don't know enough to know if he's the right foil for walker.

And I'll back Keary to come good, (we've seen it already at times this season) until he calls it.

I'm thinking that if Freddy does land the Bulldogs coaching job (as some are seeming to say), now that he does have a working relationship with Burton, then this may help sway him to remain at the dogs ?

It was mentioned during the broadcast that NFL scouts could already be looking at him. Would be tough to resist that kind of opportunity and money.

I was thinking the same. I wonder if Gus had any influence in getting Burton (who thoroughly derserved his spot) selected. Away for Burton and Freddy to get to know each

Rumours have it that he will get a go this year ...not sure of eligibility to play firsts.

Burton is going to attract huge interest when he comes on the market and his performance last night only added to that.
The shortage of quality halves in the game is a real problem and he has the physical advantages as to not get singled out in the defensive line along with the biggest boot in the comp.

If he is placed on a development contract, no issue?

Keary will be the one to go.

Like I said it’s gonna be real hard to get Burton out of Belmore.
Gus will do everything in his power to keep him there. The Dogs have also got a very rich sponsor in the Laundy family who I think will offer him the world.
We’ll just have to wait & see what happens.
