Surely Nick and the board have an ascension plan pencillled in
in case Keary decides to call it (particularly after Jake and Boydy).
Burton would be the perfect choice. Pretty sure we’d have the coin after losing DSF, TKO, Keary, the big dog at the end of next year amongst others. While we’re at it piss Momo off.
Burton can fill in at left centre perfectly if Kez stays for a year or two.
might have to skimp on the front row a bit…but I’m sure Collins, Tuku and co can step up

Rumours have it that he will get a go this year ...not sure of eligibility to play firsts.

They wont play him in NRL this year, they will leave him in Brisbane to finish his schooling. With SG ball early in the year they would just fly him in and out on the weekends, he wouldnt even train with the team..Should definetely be given a top 30 contract for next season though

It was mentioned during the broadcast that NFL scouts could already be looking at him. Would be tough to resist that kind of opportunity and money.

Any idea what sort of coin an avge NFL punter makes? Pretty sure they can play to about 40,so he could possibly have a pretty full NRL career and then give it a PUNT

League minimum is about $700k US
If he trialled well and was a starting punter prob 2-3 million per season US worst case.
He wouldn't be a given to make it. A few AFL boys with a boot probably bigger than Burton have failed...obviously some have made it also
