We all know that person. They are related to "it wasn't me" and "somebody else"..

Watch him go there & be the player we all expected & wanted him to be. No one gets the best out of players better than the Storm,he will go to the next level & in return we will have one of the weakest forward packs in the comp unless we start splashing the cash. You don’t win comps with kids who may have potential & Ed need that experience added in especially with SST gone & JWH on his last legs.

I’ll cop the heat but that blame surely centres in Robbo. He knew we only had kids in our forward pack & kids who to be honest haven’t nailed down the spots, yet let Liu go & now SST. If the club is letting Crichton go then they incident rate him as are backups are pretty average ‘ only living on potential. That or maybe Robbo massively overrated them.

Losing the 2 Bromwich boys,Smith etc they must have nearly $2 mill available.

He's not big, he's not small.
Maybe someone can tell me what exactly he does do...what he brings to the team that is so valuable.
After that first half slaughter by the Eels...in my mind any player who wants to leave is welcome to do so.
Agree with you on the last part. Last year so many blokes stepped up,this year it’s like they think they did enough last year & now they can just sit back & collect their wage. Seeing very little heart or pride in the RWB to be honest.
To me only Walker/JS/Teddy/Manu/Toops are must keeps, the rest I wouldn’t be fussed if we told them to move on.
JWH is my favourite Rooster ever, but I didn’t include him in this list purely because next year is his last & he deserves to go when he wants & can just kick back & be a bench player & be that experience. Outside that I think we can find as good or better elsewhere.

Yeah couldn’t remember the others do I put etc haha.
If that was us we would be saying we have millions spare yet apparently when it’s another club those 4 combined are only $750k.
Smith is $800, Jesse would be over $600, Kenny over $500 & Kaufusi $500 as well being a rep player. To me that’s nearly $2.5 mill & take maybe 5/600k combined to compensate Hughes/Munster for their upgrades.Plenty enough left for Crichton plus others.

I heard that JWH's close to signing a 5 year deal with the Drizz. Cords was seen talking to Cleary about his options, noting he's regained the itch to play footy but doesn't wanna play for a bottom-8 club like Easts.

Oh and the CEO of Football QLD + a 'highly motivated' dude who makes meat raffle flyers for the Dolphins' club told me Skeletor's gonna come to Easts in 2023, with Robbo becoming the new Dolphins coach.

                    Who knows what's happening anymore.

I thought we signed May to a 3 year contract recently but apparently Penrith are talking to him.

If Angus does go to Melbourne most of you will hate him because Bellamy will get him playing like Kaufusi does.
Wish he would play like Kaufusi at the Roosters.

I think Sitili busts his ass for us....BUT his place is off the bench playing less mintutes

Luckily we still have Momo, Watson and that other bloke.

That's exactly what would happen , it would be a double blow for the chooks

This is what Angus had to say this week about the agreed contract not yet being registered by the NRL:

Coach Trent Robinson assured his star backrower his contract would be honoured and the dispute would be smoothed over.

“You do see the headlines, it’s not nice to have that hanging over your head,” Crichton said.

“You try not to read into it but it can be unsettling. But I think we’re getting close to a result. I don’t want to go anyway."

Maybe both clubs can sort out a early swap deal with Brandon Smith
