I love that one..it's right up there with "Fool is the fool who think's he's fooled you"..and why do people I've blocked on here think I can read what they post or when they quote me? Now that's foolish..

back on topic..I think Robbo might have to pull some new tricks or tactics to keep up with the top teams..he's smart enough to do his homework and see what works and what doesn't..this bye is a watershed moment in the season..he'll be making the most of it..he's astute enough and professional enough to come up with a plan for the remainder of the season..

I reckon we are specials to beat the line with 14.5 start against penrith paying $1.90. I also think 4 to 1 at even start is great odds for us.
I don't encourage anyone to bet,
I have been a bit of a punter in the past and I would be in front if I had never had a bet, like most people.

The $26 is reflecting the odds of missing out on the finals altogether. We are now $1.8 to make the finals.

The top 8 has become complicated because Dragons have a very easy draw, and Souths have a very hard draw. Our game vs Dragons after the bye becomes our most important game of the season. If we slip up we will become entangled in a four-way battle for the final spot.

We’re also paying 1.90 to miss the 8.

Better of backing the riff at $1.45 to make the grand final.

Don't be too harsh on Andrew Walker NSK. He used to be such a lovely person and I was proud to call him one of my closest friends. Then he had this personality change last year and the rest is history.

I'd rather he just stick to stalking and hurling his insults at me in the off-topic threads rather than the Roosters related ones. That way, he can throw his tantrums and throw abuse at me and me only and leave the rest of the other forum members alone. I have him on ignore but when others quote him, his posts become visible to me. I don't mind as he holds no power over me or the ability to hurt me......let him get it out of his system.eventually even the hyper toddler gets sick of running around and around in circles and will eventually fall in a heap exhausted..I'm strong enough to take it and know how to rise above it. I have 12 nieces and nephews so have seen and heard all sorts over the years. Water off a chook's back...

I always think of that Queen song Headlong..that's our Andy..he likes the last word..Ironically the name of one of Jack Gibson's books I have sitting here with me now..

Ok what was the topic of this thread again? Oh yes..odds to win the comp..not good..I echo King Salvo's quote from the great man.never bet on anything that can talk..

Here are some gems from Jack for the week ahead:

"Well they all seem to limp a little more when replaced" (that was from his time as Origin coach)

"In football, if you are standing still, you are going backwards fast"

"If you don't say anything, you won't be called upon to repeat it"

Get on the Panthers-Roosters GF Quinella, Mickie

I predict we'll lose only one more game during the regular season.
