I keep getting 6th too and I don't think you are being biased. It's not over yet. I keep remembering when Parramatta went on a winning streak in 2006 from exactly last week's time in the calendar. They had lost 12 and won 12 by seasons end and made it to 8th place after JT took over as coach.

Well if the recent Keary retirement rumours are true then the odds will blow out further. Geez without Keary all bets could be off.

A visiting pom sat next to me at the SCG years ago for the centenary test match between Australia and NZ. He wanted to bet with me before the game and even though I knew Australia would smash them, I wasn't interested. I'm not in the habit of betting with people I don't know from a bar of soap, and he came across as a bit of a knob TBH. AND he wanted to know how many points start I would give him! As the Kangaroos were going more and more ahead, for a joke I asked him if he still wanted to bet. He acted like I was serious and got all Eastender on me and yelled that I didn't have the balls to bet at the beginning, blah, blah, blah. I just calmly told him betting has nothing to do with balls, but if you really want to throw away your money, the TAB outlet's up there! Oh, BTW, I did have the balls to stand, clap and cheer loudly at every Kangaroo try and look him square in the eye every time! He left with 20 mins to go.

A Panthers-Roosters GF is 41-1. Basically stealing money if for the 50/50 chance that we end up on the same side of the draw as Penrith.

I foresee that we'll finish 6th or 7th and so face the Riff in a Prelim.

Still, the 41-1 is worth a lazy 100 on the small chance that we only finish 8th

So I learned Wednesday night that Penrith won't go back to back. That loss will take a big toll on the NSW Panthers.

Which means we will win the comp (if Keary comes back and plays every game after we play the Dragons).

                46-1. Get onnnn.

I probably sound like a crazy man but you heard it here first.

My mate just had 150 on us at this price.
This price is with Sportsbet , think most others have us at $31

If we win our last 8 games we'll make the top 4 - 71-1.

                    Basically stealing money

That one is very optimistic with cows only having to win 3 games and storm/sharks 4 games to make the top 4.

                      but mathematically…….

For those that are sure the Roosters are going to win the comp heres your chance.

If you've got the balls & the cash go & put 10K down its a 260K return.
                        Probably 50 to 1 now?

footy's funny - at this time last year we were sure of making the 8 but were only a mathematical chance to win the comp. this year we're in a shit fight to make even 8th spot but if we do make the finals have a team that would probably make the prelims and then who knows

Three weeks ago we were $41 to win it an $21 to make the GF.

Now we are $13 and $7.

Good luck to those who had the balls to back them and have a bit of faith in their team.

except Parramatta - they seem to have the game to beat them - Even if Cleary wasn't sent off Parramatta were going to win that game.
