Right now I only care about our odds to make the finals. Beating the Drongos gave us a MASSIVE boost!

Now on 24 points, we need 2 more wins from 4 games. Our run is what...
    - Cows (doable despite where they sit)
    - Tigpies (should win)
    - Drizz (in a form slump - totally doable)
    - Souffs (I'd expect no less)

IMO the question has turned from whether we can make the 8 to whether we can make the 4. We're gradually playing ourself into form and I reckon once Collins & TKO return we'll be set for a serious crack at the finals.

Can we beat Penrith? Round 16 they only beat us 26-18 and we were playing like rubbish back then! IMO it's doable. We lack the form right now but that doesn't mean we can't build it for tomorrow.

I want Easts to win above all but they got farked by the cheating Drizz in 2009 so I have a soft spot for them.

They'll be rubbish now without Mitch and I think Manly will get them tonight...North Queensland are the team to beat.

Penrith full strength have lengths on the Cowboys they are so far in front they can take there foot off the pedal for a few weeks snd still finish 1st. Cleary and Luai fresh for the finals spells danger to other teams.

Cronulla with Fitzy as coach are a good side and are a major player especially if injuries are unkind to Penrith come finals times

Parramatta too inconsistent and with Moses out snd a tough run home could soon be looking over their shoulders.

Broncos have had a good season but look to be struggling late on post origin with young players A shock loss next week would really see the pressure on them

Melbourne will there abouts but can’t see them winning it.

South’s Can’t see them winning it tough run in.

Easts Slowly finding form still way too much drop ball for my liking But can pile on points in a rush when they get on a roll and hold the ball Lodge has been a very good signing and if they make the finals could do serious damage. One thing I will say about this team us at this stage they are not on par with the 18 and 19 teams Those sides would have put the last two games to bed by halftime by being up by 30

Good time to be peaking with all the other sides, bar maybe the Cowboys, having a few slip-ups. Even the Cowboys you could argue did have that slip-up when they essentially lost to the Tigers.

Penrith for me are not some unbeatable team. They seem to be the new Melbourne, and play at like an 8.5/10 each week. People keep saying that they have multiple gears left, but I don't see it. They'll run a little harder and try a little more, but their execution won't improve. They weren't dominant in any of their finals games last year, and were arguably the worse team in all of their wins. They're extremely tough though, and never beat themselves. I think if we run into them with a healthy squad, we'll have a solid chance.

I don't think the Cowboys or the Sharks can beat Penrith, so they can only win it if someone scalps the Panthers for them.

Myself and a few others have said it for a while, but no team will want to play the Roosters with a healthy squad in September, especially if they've won like 7/8 games or something.

Moses may make an early return in round 24 vs Broncos - Eels also have a tough run home - Sea Eagles/Rabbitohs/Bulldogs/Broncos/Storm - 1 game they should win - 4 50-50 games.

                  Getting very interesting
