that's fair enough but there is irony in someone starting a thread and whinging about whingers I think people have a right to whinge when they see a lack of coherent structure in attack, no backline moves, a complete lack of basic fundamentals on exhibit, senior players consistently dropping the ball and pushing passes that were never on and diabolical 5th tackle kick options..

I also think the whingers should also though praise the players where warranted and they showed an tonne of guts when the refs were against them and Canberra got to an 8 point lead but held them out defensively from that point on. Yesterday was a 9.5 for effort and a 2.5 for execution. However we got the 2 points and are ahead of Souths for at least one more week

I really liked the 9.5 for effort and 2.5 for execution bit. IMO that's a positive. You can always improve execution but when there's little effort you're well and truly farked.
