Geez...great effort by the Kumuls and a brilliant game from Lachie, so skilful and didn't miss a beat. Been good all year mind you.

And PNG were so tough and disciplined with their game plan tonight. Looked really well coached. Be some talent scouts making a few notes on these guys.

What about the Kumuls 5/8 Kyle Laybutt.

Absolute gun in defence.

It's hard to believe he isn't in anyone's top 30, he looked to be better then half the 5/8's running around in the NRL

What about Kikau? Was he only out there trying get through the game unscathed or was he just physically outmatched by the smaller PNG rock nuggets. Some of those blokes are like stone and could have possibly been underestimated by some of their fancier high profile opponents.

Interesting thought… if they played again next week, would the result go the same way?

I didn’t watch but Lam has always stood out against reserve grade standard. If he really was any good he’d be in a first grade side playing footy every week.

Correct. He has had plenty of chances and has shown very very little. Isn't close to making an impact in the NRL. Should head to England and cash in
