You don't have to be highly intelligent to behave in an publicly acceptable manner though - some of these footy players are like kids who have never grown up.

I watch a lot of sport and 99.9% of players/participants do the right thing as they know they are in a privileged position and they behave accordingly.

Freddie Freeman may have copped a lot of crowd comments second day (game 2 ) when playing for the LA Dodges against his former team the 2021 World Series winning Atlanta Braves but it was all fine in the end -as they gave him due credit the first day (game 1).

One of those things - Dodgers 6 year 162 mill US deal or Atlanta's 5 year 135 Mill US deal - Braves wouldn't go 6 years as it would have matched the Dodgers one - Braves lost patience with Freeman's Management team and signed Matt Olson from Oakland A's which ended any chance of Freeman staying with the Braves an organisation he spent 15 years with including 12 years in the Majors (Major League).

100% agree on the double standards in the media these days. Some of the sleazy stuff that's accepted these days on free to air TV is wrong.

Don't know if I'm getting old too quick or just can't accept times are changing. Believe me I love a drink & a laugh also but thank God for Netflix & YouTube..etc

There's moving with the times which is a person's choice if they chose to, then theres being forced or shamed into moving with the so called times in things you are dead against which is not right.

Spot on, I will never enjoy watching two dudes kissing on tv or real life, and no amount of salvo telling me how good it is, will make me change my mind.
