It got to that point because Tedescco didn't own up to it from the get go - You might think it's nothing but your not the person on the receiving end of the remark.

100% agree on the double standards in the media these days. Some of the sleazy stuff that's accepted these days on free to air TV is wrong.

Don't know if I'm getting old too quick or just can't accept times are changing. Believe me I love a drink & a laugh also but thank God for Netflix & YouTube..etc

Friendly had his contract torn up and he sat on the sideline for a year for repeated alcohol related incidents. He learnt his lesson, came back and captained the club to b2b premierships. He was in his early 20s then.

The Women in question is from a Vietnamese background and not all Vietnamese have a fondness for South Korea (Vietnam War) / The show is about people in deep financial hardship / stereotyping - must have been talking about the show to shout this out at the First Asian background person he sees.

Again you have to put yourself in the other persons shoes to know how you would feel in the same situation.

Woke actually means - alert to racial prejudice and discrimination i,e Black Lives Matter Movement - woke up to societies ills -well informed and up to date.

Many on here using this woke term dislike how their world has changed and that their old world views are no longer relevant in a modern society.
