Just a observation since 2013 the year Robbo arrived I can’t recall many unknown player signings who have shone under his coaching other than Sam Moa,Verrills and recently the 2 hyped rookies Walker and Sualli.

Have said this all along. Robbo needs to buy established players,he’s not someone that can bring in an undeveloped or average player like Bellamy can. Bellyache is a cut above Robbo when it comes to getting players to develop & step up. Robbo needs a salary cap busting team to win a comp. He’s bought in blokes like Copley, Burgess,Castry, Momo, Crichton who have gone backwards,not really made NRL, or failed altogether. I know Walker & JS will be stars but I’d say they’d be stars at the Tigers, they’re just naturally brilliant. Look at blokes like Finucane, The Fox, Hughes, Paps etc who were ordinary at their previous clubs, not wanted etc & now they dominate.

I agree
lock him up for next year , there are not many other options out there atm

Innocent until proven guilty. You're claiming a man's in contempt of court, which is a serious offence. The court decides whether he's met his obligations... they can garnish his wage and hit him with criminal penalties if he stuffs the victims around so go figure. IMO it's fair to assume there's no dramas going on in that department.

Also if you read the NRL's wording around the time they let him return, it was clearly stated that he HAD to work-our some sort of repayment plan BEFORE they'd let him play (noting this was when he was asking for a $100k a year contract).

I'm not calling him a saint but my assumption is that he has a payment plan going on whereby the victims get something like 50% of his salary (if not more). From my perspective Robbo saying he's matured and feels vulnerable with the 2nd kid of a way is good enough for me!!! If he farks up between now and the end of the season it's simple... he won't get a contract with us and probably won't get one with anybody else either.

In my mind he NEEDS to play footy. That's what he's good at, serious $$$ from him playing goes to the victims (rather than him saying 'sorry I'm a labourer on $40k a year and can't afford repayments') and his wife + 2 kids NEED their dad to grow the fark up.

I'll judge him hard if he farks us around. However if he puts his head down, earns a contract for 2023 (plays like he wants one for all of 2022) and matures within our system (as guys like Fergo, Friend, Tetevano...etc did) then the outcome's ideal. I'll be happy to see him sign a contract for 2023+, become a good husband/dad, compensate the victims fully (through hard work!) and move forward as a productive member of society.

Forgiveness is one of the strongest things you can do. My ex tried to kill me and abducted our daughter. I've forgiven her and my biggest wish has always been for her to move forward and be a good mother! Like it or not, people fark up and do horrifically violent shyte for a variety of reasons. That's partly why we have courts... so that we can find a principled way forward in such situations.

I'm not one to blame the ref's , but they spoiled any chance we had with a run of nothing penaltys to hand the lead back to the panthers....

To be fair that doesn’t mean much. It doesn’t say he paid cash for it,could have a massive loan just like any one else. Also in this day & age a $2.5 mill home doesn’t make you rich considering shithole fibros are going for over a mill,or run down townhouses in Redfern for several mill.

You should come live in my apartment block...we are all a 'work in progress' on that front...I was actually very proud of the team last night..that's why I slept well..I was so happy for Sammy Verrills too..he's such a favourite of mine...The story of his brother Jack is heartbreaking..puts a lot in perspective...
