When you spoke to your psychiatrist about trewhella following you on the bus and trewhella hiding in your closet and trewhella haunting you in your dreams, Im sure he gave you some great advice.

    Trewhella is everywhere.
    Boo!
hahaha Are you ready to come out?

Back to the subject, I can't say I am looking forward to this week. Storm are a hard assignment at the best of times and I feel we are not ready for them yet. I'm just hoping it aint a flogging.

Trewhella you certainly have delusions of grandeur. You may also be experiencing a pyschotic episode and hallucinations. I think your alcoholism has really got the better of you man. Time to get off the sauce man.

I've got a feeling the passes might stick for us this week.

Might be closer than many think.

Are we talking Dolly Dunn or Milton Orkopoulos?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Roosters by 14. Minus the drop ball we actually played quite well against Canberra. I think you'd find a weaker willed team would have let in points after squandering so many sets early in count. SKD two tries. Cordner to have a big one. Pearce MOM. Mini to be shit as usual.

                  Correct.
There is a lot that we can take from last week. It wasn't all bad.
Hammer Slater from the start & hang on to the pill PLEEEEZE!

I think Smith might have used last week as a dress rehearsal as the tactics employed against the Raiders are those required to beat Melbourne. Storm are at their best when they can get numbers in the tackle and slow the ruck right down. The best way to stop a team from committing numbers is to use ball movement and support play. If the passes stick, it will take Melbourne out of their comfort zone, and whilst they still might be too good for us, it does give us our best chance for a win.

Im telling you gang bang Slater on the kick returns even if we give a couple of early penalties away. Smash him and rub his face in teh dirt let him know he is not walking off Meldrum Stadium in one piece. He will fold.

They wrestle and slow the opposition down when they're defending. They do it better than any other team so IMO there's no use even trying get up fast. We will only make mistakes and drop the pill or play it badly, we do that often anyway.

The idea is to slow them down when they have the footy. They love to do everything in attack fast. They react better than any other team to broken field play, a dropped ball or Slaters kick returns. So the idea is to give them set plays constantly. Kick out to force scrums or kick dead to force 20mtr taps. Then we can set our defense at our pace, not at theirs. Slow them down and try to frustrate them. And be desperate and dive on everything we can, even if we knock on, to ensure a scrum not a quick turn over.

Not saying it will work, but IMO it's worth a try.

It's worked for us in the past..

We could be considered a bogey side for The Cheats..

                            Indeed.
                            wise words.

In essence, the ruck is core.
If you dont control it, you wont win......

bellamy if anything is THE master of this.
                            Slow down their attack,
                            speed up your attack.
with one exception......if the opposition has momentum slow down your own attack and their attack.
Its why in my opinion Cameron Smith is the smartest footballer in the world.
Watch him, he understands ebb and flow....kind a like Freddy.
                            rare player.

Incidentally, if you beat Melbourne you have to destroy their pack.
                              Not beat them, humiliate them

On paper that doesn't look that hard.

Then again if footy was won on paper Nathan Brown would have won 3 comps.
