The roosters are linked to everyone, next year we are going to have a 130 man roster and salary cap if 100 million dollars.

Perhaps Crightons form this season hasn't been his best, but he's far from finished. And Sitilli has been great.
Behind them you've got the Butcher bros and Wyte plus assorted junior burgers.
Maybe you could argue that we're not as well stocked as I make out, but I feel we've got other priorities that trump signing a bloke like Nanai. I'd rather see Haas or Burton, and some better depth in the three-quarters.
Agreed, however, until Angus is tied down, we will be linked to all second rowers out there.

For me he lacks that agility, i see him as a middle forward but can do a good job on a edge but this nanai has centre speed, quick footwork an always looking for the offload, comes across as a worker always looking to make a play ( shot on)

          Nanai is a no-no IMO.
Put on a pedestal by the media, rushed into the Qld origin side by Slater and it showed.
Badly missed a tackle in Origin 2 that led to a NSW try.
If , and when he fixes his defensive issues, the Roosters can look at him.

I agree. He wouldn’t make a NSW 5th string side. Way overrated.

Nanai, in my opinion, is too similar to Sitili. Great in attack but suspect in defence.

We need another "budget priced" prop. For those that keep an eye on the UK super league, anyone over there worth looking at?

We have enough players that can score tries.....maybe try signing someone that can tackle

Elijah Taylor wants back in the NRL....put him out there and tell him his only job is to make 50 tackles a game

He would be that slow now even in defense he would be a liability

I'm not advocating to sign him but I don't know how much some of you blokes have watched the Cowboys this year if you are saying the bloke can't tackle based on one miss on a very elusive Luai in origin after qld had done a mountain of work and Gagai had dropped off from the A marker that opened the hole
The kid is a gun and there is a reason why a host of clubs will be queueing up for him.

I'm saying he can't tackle after averaging 5-6 missed tackles a game including one where he made 15 but missed 9

He is currently sitting 14th in missed tackles this year despite having only played 13 games.....

for clarity's sake he is sitting higher than Talatau Amone, Cody Walker and Chad Townsend but I guess he is still below Sam Walker....just
so great idea putting those 2 together

                            Sitili is at 39th btw....

Really ? In the trials this year he made a few bad reads and his lateral defense wasn't the best

I'm just impressed with how agile he is, particularly in the air. He's an incredible weapon under the high ball.
