Magnificent effort from the boys , I thought it was our best effort for the year.
Loved the work of Watson and Egan around the ruck when they had some extended minutes with their ball work.
I hope Robbo blows up in the presser at Sutton, you just knew he was going to get involved once we were in front.

After watching him closely tonight for the first time, I'm convinced that Kikau is a flat track bully. He hides out in the centres and runs over the top of players 20 kilos lighter than him.

The difference in winning between the 2 teams is that when we were a winning team over the past 10years we often won against adversity unlike Penrith.

if it takes the ref to keep the top team in the league in the game, it’s not a top game, it was a manufactured game, and proves why league is so underwhelming at the moment.

The roosters did everything right tonight but some dubious penalties gave the game to the riff. That pass off the ground was legal and should have been let go. Then there’s the dangerous tackle which wasn’t the roosters fault which I think led to a try. Riff were laying over us but how many 6 agains did we get? The ref interfered way too much instead of letting the best team win which was us by far. The ref was an absolute farce.

Much improved effort in defence. Whatever we think of those carrnts they are the yardstick at the moment and we matched them for the most part. Some poor decisions/defence reads that cost us that were simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH for the last two tries. Cannot switch off like that.

To the other stuff though, Sutton is fkin worthless and the 'Riff fortress' and Cleary being this demigod can get farrked, the 8-3 penalty count has a big part to play.

Great effort by the boys. I’m still fuming about that joke of a penalty against Verrills in the first half. Why do we always get the cheat Sutton! I mentioned this at the start of Round 1 and had other posters jumping down my throat.
