Wet weather game with no keary and Manu supposedly playing in the 6 and we’re up against Cleary who thrives in wet weather footy with his boot. I think we are in big trouble tonight but I will be heading out there to cheer them on so hoping with the week off they can surprise us!

      Lets go lads.

Let’s play like we would expect us to play at the beginning of the season.

        Is that better?
Not really mate we have been round 1 easy beats for 10 years

When the going gets tough, is usually when we get going.

Doesn't get much tougher than playing the current Champs on a cold wet night on their dunghill.

Keep waiting for them to have an off game, and still waiting.

If Joey plays 6, it's a good move. Our starting 13 looks very competitive, but the bench falls away a bit unfortunately. I'd play May and Lam ahead of Fifita and Hutch personally. Great to have Vic back. Expect Momo to lift tonight if he gets a run against the ex team mates.

Last night's game shows the top teams can get rolled when the cards fall into place. Can that happen tonight, or will they be just that bit too good for us again?

Good luck to the high flying Bears in the preliminary game tonight too, also facing their toughest test.

Agreed. It’s become such a habit that the round one loss is now the expectation.

Hutch will have to be in the run on ( somewhere ) if Manu plays 6. Leaving all our long kicking to Walker spells disaster

We shall win this game easily since Robbo's new recruits have been given special permission to play. New captain Lodge will be joined by the newly poached chooks; Paul Hayward, Anthony Watts, Chris Dawson and John Elias.

The TIT era has ended for me. Craig Fitzgibbon was the reason behind Robbo's past success. We let the wrong boss go.

                Go Easts!

After the bye, if all players come through al right then there should be no reason to rest any players for the Dragons game...

                    HOPE I AM WRONG!!!![/QUOTE]

You never know with Robbo and resting players, their’s always a surprise..

Im debating in my head the margin
cold and wet Penrith. Roosters hungry but not seen as any threat at all by the Riff any more.
chooks to start well within 6 points at half time and then beaten by 18.
                      barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

Kick early before wingers drop back. Somehow discover the old intensity in defense

It's a shame Jarad isn't playing, would be a game he would really excel. Looking forward to the boys ripping in.

Not freezing cold at 10 degrees, very slight breeze, and steady light rain..... could suit us.
