Unlucky to lose tonight, could easily have won, but a good effort without JWH and Kez. I thought TKO, Both butchers and Verrills were very good. Rads will get better, Toops was great, Smith also, Hutch's kicking was great, They were all good..... but if we get JWH and Kez back DSF drops out and Manu goes back to centre, Sitili back to the pack, Hutch goes to 14, Watson drops out.
we will make the 8, and if we can get a full strength team on the field in the semis we can beat anyone.

Pointless whinging about the ref

The Roosters have been silent about the refereeing for far too long.
Time to speak out, and take legal action.

I can't understand why, if Sam V is penalised for a dangerous tackle, then why aren't we awarded an 8 point try for Sam V being dumped on his head when he scores?
He was obviously injured but neither the ref nor the bunker did a thing. Wasn't even mentioned in any of the commentary but I thought it was a legitimate case for an 8 point try.

Few thoughts on tonight’s game without mentioning Sutton.

- Walker, clearly not ready to lead the team as a halfback. Tried hard but just let him create and play what he sees not having to worry about where he needs to be in the set so he can kick on last all the time.

- Radley, continued what’s been a poor season. Should’ve been a big inclusion but instead was a liability, his simple drop in yardage after just coming on the field was a momentum turner and then simple miss from marker on Korisau for the game sealing try. Much better player than he’s currently showing.

- Loved what we were doing through the middle of the field either side of half time with Egan Butcher, Watson & Verrills. Allowed Teddy and Manu to jump on the back of it too. A lot of talk on here about big body forwards on the bench but I think we need to lean into this more and felt we could’ve gone harder and more direct more often.

- Egan Butcher, 4th game back now really started to warm to the task. Runs hard, tackles hard but had some deft skill for the Taukeiaho try and then a nice kick to force a drop out.

- I really admire Hutchinson and appreciate what he’s done in some times of real need for us but if we’re serious about playing in the finals series this year he can’t be in our top 17, there were stages where he was walking back in defence. Just not fit enough.

Proud of the Chooks performance unlucky to win.If they can play with that effort & tidy up a few little areas we will be a threat to all the teams we have to play.

I said the same thing to my mates. I didn't honestly think it was worth an 8 point try, I was just making the point about how ridiculous the Sam V penalty was in the first place

More wishful thinking on my part but still, dangerous is dangerous and not a mention anywhere.

Radley's defence was phenomenal. Offence will come back 100%. Egan had a good game, I'll give you that, but I just don't see him as anything more than a solid rotation player, much like his brother (sorry everyone). As for Hutchison, I've said it before, I never understood the utility position. This needs to be an impact player or an extra forward. having Hutch there as someone who gives a breather makes 0 sense to me as he offers nothing outside of a decent kicking game. If that happens to be a utility player great, but Hutch does not offer that impact, so either go with AK as a utility and hope he can impact or just put an extra forward, not that Robbo will use him anyway considering he left DSF on the bench the whole game

Dragons,knights and manly are our next 3 games, if we lose just one of them, we won’t make the 8, it’s good to have that kind of pressure, because the team has be on every game now.

win those 3, and the battle for 7th or 8th stays interesting until the end of the season, might come down to the last round at our new home ground v Souths, where one team will knock the other out of a finals place.
