I have Vermin cousins..you know the refs are bad when Roosters and Vermin are agreeing..I love the fact they hate the Panthers as much as we do..

Penrith do have weaknesses in their game which can be exploited- going through their middle/ruck -short passes/offloads/players in support etc - teams for some reason want to go around Penrith with sideline to sideline play.

The Roosters were guilty of this sideline to sideline play when through the middle was working- Need to stick to that game plan for the attack.

Of course Teams need to play for 80 minutes against them- have what they can control in their game in order. The old basics- high set completions/low errors / long kick and chase game etc.

One of the commentators said something like 'wingers will score a lot of tries, but that only happens because you've already beaten them in the middle of the field'.

          Agreed
the roosters exposed the panthers through the middle with some nice short passing.

I think this is my favourite of the posts in this thread. I can't find the other post from the other thread about them having 14 on the field but I just was on LinkedIn and even on there people are saying similar..

The Panthers are a sensational team though & when your the best team you get the rub of the green alot.

Refereeing has been q problem for the NRL for a long time. They have too much sway. There are too many subjective rules, like 10 m, when to release, loose carry v strip, now its 6 again calls.

Is this because of our rules or has the NRL designed it that way?

                This is a serious question.

Are the NRL trying to keep games close? Give successs to sides where AFL are trying to step in?
